Hehehe you guys get two chapters today!

(technically three, since I posted the Todo chapter at 2am where I live)

And... maybe I'll do a part 2, as I have more ideas. I'll just finish the other requests first.

You had wanted to save him.

With what had happened to him, he deserved to be saved.

You hoped deep in your heart that you'd be able to help him.

But no.

Kirishima was too far gone.

So many years ago, you and Kirishima were friends.

The two of you were rarely ever seen apart.

"(N/N)..."

"Yeah Eiji?"

"Do you promise that we'll always be friends?"

"Of course I do!"

"Even if I have to leave?"

"Yeah!"

"Ok..."

"Why're you asking?"

"My family's moving cities. I don't know when we'll see each other again..."

"Well then, I'll write letters to you everyday!"

"Really?"

"Really."

"Well... I'll do the same, (N/N)!"

Just like you promised, you two were still friends, even when apart.

And the two of you sent letters to each other every day.

He abruptly stopped sending letters one day.

Soon after that... you heard something about him on TV.

"14 year old Eijiro Kirishima has been reported missing after a murder and possible kidnapping. Eijiro is described as having black hair, red eyes, and a noticeable scar on his right eye."

The report went on, describing your childhood friend perfectly.

It was terrible, not being able to help him.

Until two years later...

You found out he had been found.

So you convinced your parents to let you see him.

You knocked on the door.

"Oh, hello (Y/N)!" The black-haired woman you identified as Kirishima's mother told you, standing in the doorway.

"Hi Mrs. Kirishima!" You said happily. "Where's Eiji? I wanna make sure he's ok."

"Oh yes, he's just in his room. It's the last door upstairs."

"Thank you!"

You remember running up to his room, and opening the door, to see him sitting on his bed.
