The Road

Sweet music fills the comfortable silence,

Mood all brightened and mind devoid from any tense.

Gusty wind blowing the baby hair out my face,

As I sit in a small yet lovely space.

My mind turns its attention away,

When I feel my body swerve and sway.

I look outside the window to find,

A curvy road that leaves its traces behind.

Its turns so sharp and concise,

And in its beauty thoughts that brew so wise.

Endless is its bound,

That is yet to be found.

High peaks fill out one side,

On another blue water with waves so wide.

Gravel on the ground so smooth and fine,

Its as if everything fits perfectly and in one line.

When I picture it in my mind,

There isn't a single flaw I can ever find.

Its topsy turvy curve that shapes it,

Is a rollercoaster of emotions that deem fit.

As I soak its beauty and restore it in my memory,

My eyes sparkle a little and throw away all my worry.

I let this road take me on a journey so memorable,

That can be only described as pleasant and adorable.
