Sam was in the middle of the stage, talking into a microphone.

"You guys did great, I'm not surprised at-" He looked up when he heard the sound of something sliding and he saw a huge sand bag falling. He moved to the side quickly, just in time as to not get hit with it. "What the hell?" He exclaimed. Everyone gasped.

"Are you okay Sam?" Mr. Schue asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine. But what the hell?" He exclaimed again. He looked to the side of the stage and saw Sue walking towards him on the stage, arms crossed.

"I'm surprised, Kentucky Fried Stripper. You have really good hearing, huh?" She asked. Sam looked at her, so did everyone else.

"You did that? You know what, I'm not even surprised." He said, glaring at her.

"Yes, I did cause that sand bag to fall. Why, because I knew if you got hurt, Ms. Pop Star over there would come to your aid and kiss you to wake you up."

"What?" Brenda exclaimed, standing up. Sam glanced at her. She looked amazing as usual. He put his fingers on the bridge of his nose and breathed in and out deeply.

"Sue..." He said warningly.

"I just don't get why you two broke up. You were perfect for each other!" Sue said, throwing her hands in the air.

"Life is what caused it Sue. She went to LA, and became famous, while I stayed here to freaking mope around all the damn time apparently, which is what everyone else tells me. A long distance relationship didn't work well for us." Everyone was surprised at what he said, and how he said it, with no emotion in his voice." You can just forget it. Were not getting back together." Some people were whispering as Brenda stood up and got on stage with them, standing beside him. She crossed her arms.

"He's right, Sue. Just stop."

"So you're saying you hate each other now?" Sam had had enough.

"Damn it! Sue, what the hell! No I don't hate her! That's is impossible for me to do. What do you want me to do? Tell her how much I love her and that I want to be with her again? Every single person in this auditorium knows that that is exactly what I want to do! But it's not, because she'll just end up leaving like everyone else. Almost everyone else I love is gone, moved out of Lima, doing their own thing. And me? I'm just here, living with my parents, working my ass off at South co, helping Mr. Schue. Trust me, I love working with him but I don't want to spend the rest of my life living like this!" Everyone stared at him shocked. "I'm just tired of being alone. Physically, I'm not. But I just feel like no one knows me, or gives a shit." Everything and everyone was quiet until Sue said,

"I know for a fact that she doesn't feel the same way." Everyone looked at her. "She wants to be with you, she loves you. She misses you. If you asked her, she'd stay. But your just to scared to face the fact that you two belong together. Sit down." She said and a huge screen appeared. She sat in a chair out of the way and pressed play on a remote. 'A Thousand Years' started playing and pictures popped up on the screen. All of them were Sam and Brenda. The song stopped and a video started.

"Something's wrong, Sam. I know it." Brenda said. They were in the choir room, and it was about a month after they started dating.

"I'm fine, B. I promise."

"Samuel." She warned. He sighed and took her hand.

"Look, I like you, a lot. But..."
