During lunch Bella sat with the Cullens who convinced Miley to join as well. She could feel the jealousy of all the popular wanna be's..... aka Jessica Stanley. "You know getting food and not eating it is a waste." Miley mocked slumping down in between Alice and Rosalie. "Ugh I don't know how you eat that carb invested food anyway." Rose said scoffing and scrunched nose in distaste.
Don't get me wrong Rosalie and I were friends, she's just an emotional bitch like me. "Garlic mashed potatoes keep me safe from your vampire urges guys it's for my own safety." Miley said snidely back. The group had been telling her of Vampire secrets and about garlic helping her to seem less appetizing.........
After her statement she noticed the look Emmett gave as he avoided eye contact and smirked. She looked at everyone including Bella who stifled a giggle and smile. "You guys were fucking with me weren't you?" Miley sighed as everyone busted out laughing in her expense.
All summer she ate garlic related food to help their cravings and it had all been a joke. "YOU GUYS LET ME EAT GARLIC FOR THREE MONTHS STRAIGHT?" She whisper yelled making Emmetts boisterous laugh fill the cafeteria. "Edweirdo your so dead." She glared blaming him making him raise his hands in surrender. "I took no part in this speak to Alice." I couldn't help but gape my mouth at Alice who giggled and closed my mouth with her hand. "Sorry but some of us actually do hate the scent of garlic." She laughed referring to Miley's breath.
The vampires and Bella laughed as Miley stood abruptly taking her trash up. She wasn't really mad it was more for dramatic effect. She herself began laughing but stopped as someone else came to the bin and stared her down. "Long time no see huh Miley." Bryce smirked but Miley couldn't help but roll her eyes and scoff. "You ask me it wasn't long enough." She started to walk past him when he roughly grabbed her arm. No one seemed to notice or they just didn't care, all the students just continued about their business.
"Look your dad kicked me out of the hospital. But we are friends Miley. I'm throwing a party next week. Your invited I hope to see you there." His eyes looked her up and down and he still held her arm in a painful grip. Suddenly someone appeared next to Miley not touching Bryce afraid of his own strength but pissed off enough to intimidate him.
Jasper.
Miley felt a devious smile come to her face making Bryce turn around quickly, he was caught off guard by Jaspers presence. "Jesus dude you nearly gave me a heart attack. Creeping up on people like that. Can I help you?" Bryce asked confused but Jasper just continued to stare him down until Bryce got the memo when Jaspers eyes traveled to the hand that held my arm. Bryce gave a slight squeeze but let go with a smile thinking a Cullen was about to make him popular. "Hey sorry are you two together man? See I thought you and your sister were- ya know-" Bryce tried to make hand gestures but Jasper merely looked from him to me and walked me back to our shared table.
