The day was ending, school was over. You just walked to the music room seeing Stu said he would wait for you. You opened the door and peaked your head in. Stu looked at you and smiled he was putting some stuff in his bag. And locking up the instruments.

"Hey love, how was class?" He asked.

"Good, just boring I'm excited for our date tho. Or sleepover I mean" you said sitting on the couch waiting for Stu to finish up.

"Well I gotta ask, yew know how the dance is the upcoming week? The school asked us if we are still going to perform. And to start listing the songs we will play" Stu said.

"Really? That's awesome, now we can get that banjo! Plus I'd be happy to perform something with you. Maybe a couple of original songs?" You said smiling.

"Yeah and they would pay us 100 each for 10 songs. So I think it's a good thing. They are even bring some good speakers which will be good. " Stu said.

"That sounds nice. But yes I'd like to preform a few original songs. Maybe after we can have a couple dances together after?" You smirked.

"Oh yew asking me to the dance now?" Stu said.

"Haha yeah. Well did you think I wouldn't ask my boyfriend?" You shook his hair.

"That would be nice, I wanted to ask you but yew beat me to it. Now that we got this out of the way we should get going pretty lady." Stu said.

"Let's go!" You said smiling.

You two linked arms and walked out of the class. Stu locked the class and the two of you headed off. Many students still just talking in the halls.

"Our first date? Are you nervous?" You chuckled looking at stu.

"A little, I wanna impress yew. I was planning on going to this other record store. It's bigger, it's like the size of a library. I think yew'll like it. Plus there's a nice cafe in the store." Stu said.

"Really? I never heard of such store here."
You said in awe.

"Well it's kinda far, so I brought my car to drive us there." He said.

"You drive? Since when?" You said.

"I always knew how to drive. I just don't like to all that much. But I know yew would like that record store. It's a town over." He said

"Oh awesome, the after we can have that sleep over then." You said.

"Yew sure yew still wanna have that?" Stu asked surprised.

"I'm sure. Now come on let's get this date started!" You said.

"Alright, my car is over there. The blue one." He said pointing at the only blue car in the whole school parking lot. It was the same color as his hair.

"Are you sure you didn't dye your hair. You seemed to like this color." You chuckled.

He chuckled and smiled. Opening the trunk of the car and putting your backpack in there. Making sure it was placed gently.

His car was rather nice. It looked practically new, maybe he really didn't use it often. That could explain it.

You went to the side of the car, waiting for him to unlock the car so you can get it. He didn't until he was by your side so he could open the door.

"I saw this car and found it funny how it was the exact color of my hair. At least I can never mistake it for someone elses car." He said as he held your hand as you sat down and he closed the door.

He walked to the driving side and got in. You felt nervous. Seeing this is the first date with Stu. Sure you've been on a lot of dates with Tom. But this is with someone you actually picked. Someone you actually had a crush on and it wasn't cause of a force marriage.

You felt a pit in your stomach.

What do normal people do on dates?

"Yew alright?" Stu said.

"Ah, yeah I'm alright" you said looking out the window.

"What's going through that pretty little head of yours? Yew've been thinking" Stu says.

Wow he really seemed to read you well. You wondered how can he do that. How he seemed to read your mind.

"I'm just nervous. This is my first date with someone that wasn't my fiancè. It's different" you said.

"Is that a good thing?" He asked.

You jumped and shook your head.
"Yeah yeah, it's good. I've just feel nervous if I mess up or something"

"How would yew mess up? I've known yew for awhile no? I doubt there's anything yew can do that will make me think less of yew." He said.

You sighed in relief.

That did help calm your nerves a bit.

You still looked out of the window. Seeing the small town you call home fade away in the distance. Reaching the next town. It was smaller than the town you live in. Which made it cozy.

Stu parked the car in front of a large building. It was pretty empty, you felt excited when you saw a giant vinyl Statue outside. You knew you were at the place. It looked amazing and you were going to run inside like a mad person.

"Wait till you see inside. It looks really cool" Stu said getting out of the car and opening your door. He helped you out and held your hand while you two headed towards the large building.

It looked around two stories. And you were practically screaming in your head.

To say you liked vinyls was a understatement.

You walked inside, opening the tinted glass doors.

It was beautiful. It did look like a library but you knew every library was a vinyl for sale. You looked around and saw the many vinyl sections. They had a large sign separating the sections.

Rock

Punk

Classical

Rap

Japanese city pop

Funk

Pretty much anything you could think of. Also some genres you didn't know where a thing. You seemed to be in a state of shock and Stu had to poke your arm to get your attention.

"You ready to go looking?" He said.

"Of course I am!"
You said excited about the day to come.
