TOO PRIDEFUL

I was nine years old (third grade) when I got a high fever at school. One of my classmates also has the same thing happened to her. Our teacher knew of this, and she offered us a ride to go home. However, a friend of my other classmate who had a fever told me in a very irritated tone to go home and not wait for my teacher's ride. I was a fool and too prideful, so I turned around and walked straight without looking at them. I went home that day using my two feet from school to my home, and I regretted it.

Do not misunderstand me, I regretted going home using my feet but not the way I responded to the other girl whom I did not bat an eye. I am too prideful and just minding my own business, I have no time for a senseless fight against baby girls. My ego is my weakness. I am working against it, and now, I am still prideful. Kidding aside, I am striving to be better not to be a fool.
