Chapter 16

Day 4:
Kageyama awoke to a knock at the door.

He looked down at the sleeping small orange boy, clinging to his chest.

The taller male smiled before moving his fringe and planting a tender kiss on his forehead.

He wriggled out of the small boys grasp and walked out the room, locking the door.

Another knock greeted him.

"Yea I'm coming!" Kageyama shouted, thundering down the stairs.

He was mad that somebody interrupted him and Hinatas "cuddle time".

He opened the door and looked out to see Sugawara.

He spoke in a hushed tone.

"May I come in?" The upper-class man asked.

Kageyama looked shocked, but nodded never the less.

Soon enough, Sugawara was sat at the kitchen table.

"I-I just wanted to check on you..." he said.

"You haven't been at school, and Hinata is missing..."

"Y-yea..." Kageyama said, feeling uncomfortable.

Unbeknown to Suga, the first year was upstairs, sleeping peacefully in Kageyamas bed.

"I-I just don't want to go to school..." The first year added. He needed to make up a lie. Now.

"T-too.. Too many memories!" He said confidently.

He realised it sounded too enthusiastic.

"S-sorry, I just miss him terribly"

Suga was now suspicious.

"Kageyama?" He asked.

"Yes?!" Said Kageyama straightening himself up.

"You... do remember how I told you to be careful... right?"

Knowing suga was catching on, he dropped his head.

'It's now or never Tobio' The Raven haired boy thought to himself.

He shut his eyes so tightly, tears started to form.

Looking up, in a wobbly voice, he spoke.

"I miss him Suga! I try to be positive but it's so hard without him! I miss spiking to him, I miss his smile that makes any bad day feel 10- no 20x better, I miss his bubbly personality! I miss him!" Kageyama shouted, burring his head into his hands.

Suga looked taken back but immediately went to go help the fellow setter.

"I know, we all do..." Sugawara said, comforting Kageyama.

The setter had some pride, he had truest fooled Suga.

In truth, Kags couldn't be happier! He had Hinata all to himself.

Not to Kenma, not to Astumu, himself.

"I should probably go..." Sugawara said, letting the Raven haired boy go.

Kageyama showed the silver haired boy to the door.

He waved as he stepped out onto the front lawn.

Kageyama closed the door and let out a huge sigh of relief, before taking of upstairs.

He unlocked the bedroom and walked in.

Hinata was playing with a volleyball, he must've tried the door.

Kageyama walked over to him and picked him up, bridal style.

"Good morning sunshine" he said, planting a kiss on the boys nose, them on his chin.

Hinata giggled.

It was adorable!

"It looks like I won you over~" kageyama said, adjusting Hinata so his hands were cuffed around the smaller boys perfect thighs, and Hinata legs were wrapped around Kageyama.

Hinata pushed the setters forehead back with one finger.

"Yea well we will just have to see" the smaller boy said.

They walked downstairs, Hinata clinging to Kageyama like a koala.

They got to the bottom of the stairs, but the door knob giggled.

They both froze.

Sugawara walked in.

"Sorry for intruding but I forgot my..." he said, trailing off.

"Shit" the taller male said.
