Nessa POV
It was practically almost midnight and I couldn't sleep. I just couldn't get over what Ari told me. If he hadn't eaten that stew I made, he probably wouldn't have gotten kidnapped like Zara told us...
No! No there is no way I'm starting to like him! He's such an idiot sometimes I swear...but...when he ate the entire stew I just...I felt happy. I know the girls hate my cooking but Brandon didn't even hesitate to eat it besides making that joke, which I got because who doesn't play Among Us? I had to see if he was ok at least. I mean I may hate the guy or but even I have standards, besides, I need someone to make fun of in my life. I walked into his room and saw him laying down with bandages wrapped around his forehead and his chest. I can tell he was in pain
"Sup fucker"
Brandon: Oh for fuck sake
Brandon POV
I was lying down on my bed in agony, so much so I couldn't go to sleep. Until I heard someone come in, I couldn't move my neck but I immediately knew who it was when she spoke
Nessa: Sup fucker
"Oh for fuck sake"
Nessa: Couldn't sleep either?
"No shit I'm only in agony right now"
Nessa and I spent the night just chatting about everything that went on with the whole kidnapping thing, with me laying on my bed and Nessa sitting at the far end of it
Nessa: I'm really sorry
"For what?"
Nessa: For... getting you kidnapped like that. If you hadn't eaten my terrible cooking... you wouldn't have ran out like that to vomit...and you wouldn't be here in agony...I'm sorry....
I could tell she was trying to hold back tears from how she said all that. So I did what any normal romance anime protagonist does, I got up and hugged her, cuz im an asshole but im not that bad. We stayed like this until we both fell asleep. The next morning, I woke up to find Nessa sleeping in my arms
"Fbi should be knockin down this door any minute now..."
Nessa: Shut it asshole I'm 18...
"Ah yes my favorite plot convenience has been put into place. Wait are you and Ari twins or are you younger?"
Nessa: Ari is older than I am by a few months, she turns 19 in November
"August 20th for me"
Nessa: Good to know, you seem better so I guess I'll leave ya so no one gets suspicious about last night
"Right, thanks for keeping me company, Ness..."
Nessa: Thanks for listening to me, Brandon...
Nessa planted a soft kiss on my cheek before walking out
