the day started great! katrina woke up earlier than usual feeling well rested. the sun was warming up brighton which had been pretty cold the past few days.
she went downstairs and straight into the kitchen where she found kian was jamming to taylor swift and making breakfast for everyone. leaving him be, her footsteps carried throughout the spacious house into the dining room where her moms were playing timed chess with the raising fighting spirit from naruto looping in the background.
she paused.
turning in her heels she went back up to her room.
right as she entered, her phone rang. waking over to her bed she picked up the cellphone and put her phone uncomfortably close to her face as she answered the facetime call.
clay answered with a smile that immediately dropped when he saw how she picked up. now, he wasn't saying she still didn't look beautiful, but it was very uncomfortable.
