"I'm not making fun of you," Gemini said, almost laughing, "It's just ironic to me that you and I deal with the fastest substance in the universe but you get motion sickness."

Sagittarius, hunched over, groaned out a nasty response. A searing, jolting wave passed through Gemini and he quickly apologized. Cancer shook his head, he knew that was a bad idea but in no time, Libra had Vega on his feet and Sagittarius not puking everywhere.

Aries laughed at Gemini, "I wouldn't make too much fun of Sage, here."

Pisces agreed, "She's like a human compass, she can tell the directions because she can sense the magnetic pull of the poles."

"Unlike you," Aries snorted.

Gemini retorted playfully, "You guys love me."

Libra bent down and pecked his cheek, "Of course we do."

Sagittarius held up a weak arm as she finally recovered, that way, she signaled. A dry chuckle escaped from Aries as he gently lowered her arm.

"For someone who's always hot, you're not looking the part? Are you okay?" With a small hoist, he carried her on his back.

Vega led the group but halted everyone after the first ten minutes. A pit formed deep in his gut when the wrestling of leaves subtly disturbed the silence. The other six of them came to an abrupt stop from reading his body language.

Low growls hummed from around them. The atmosphere became cooler and damp as the sun began to set as the seconds passed.

"No... sudden... movements..." Vega hushed, he internally cursed himself for not taking further precautions. Aries didn't listen to his order and in a burst of screams and plasma, he charged at the eerie noises of the night.

Flames nearly lifted his feet off the dirt path that he was not conscious of singeing. Blades of fire ricocheted through the forests. The stench of burnt fish and vegetation filled the air.

Four massive creatures with bulky jaws gnashed their teeth and bellowed in the night. A duo tried to pounce but an invisible figure whisked a substance that knocked two of them out. The remaining pests split paths.

A larger one terrorized Vega, which he seemingly successfully withheld by throwing small force fields.

"Pisces!" A voice pled, "No!" The Beast attempted a hit on Pisces but Sagittarius propelled her out of it's reach. Faster than lightning, the monster tore his claws at her. She didn't make it in time and her leg suffered fatal damage.

A guttural shriek echoed through the area. With what little strength she had left, currents of electricity pierced the beast. Almost everyone could feel the bolts radiate through their bones. Anger and frustration coursed in her veins and reciprocated in the jolting shocks she produced.

Sagittarius fought a battle to keep consciousness but she lost. Slowly, her eyelids became heavy and fluttered up and down, until they didn't come back up. Her vision faded along with her hearing. Before she blacked out, the last thing on her mind was whether Aries was okay or not.

Meanwhile, Pisces choked on the debris and ran for refuge to inhale in the freshwater of the river.

The invisible assassin yanked on the tail of the inferior beast and introduced it to defeat. With a swift flick of his knife, the beast had no more life to kill with. There was tense silence before the actual fight began.

"What the hell is wrong with you, Aries?!" Gemini tackled him and began to relentlessly punch. Aries angrily defended himself and pinned Gemini to the ground. Ready to throw a mean punch, Vega held him back.
