I woke up the next morning not by my alarm but by my phone ringing I checked the caller Id which read 'mama' and smiled.

I answered and we had a hushed conversation as Steve was still asleep. I disliked him, yes but I knew we had the last part of our mission today and I didn't want to deal with an extra annoying Steve.

"Bye love you mummy" I finished putting my phone down. "So you're actually that close to your mum huh" Steve said sitting up suddenly. I realised he had probably heard me telling her about the last guy I met at the club.

"Uh, why were you listening to our conversation" I questioned annoyed at his eavesdropping as I made my bed. "Just overheard" he shrugged "surprised you have any feelings to be honest, always thought you were an ice-cold bitch" he added.

"She is the only person I care about in this world," I said as I fluffed my pillow before throwing it at Steve's face "don't call me a bitch, tinker bell," I said as I walked to the bathroom he chucked the pillow back at me but it hit the closed bathroom door instead.

I looked through my clothes as Steve was in the bathroom now. I needed some business attire again but this time something a little persuasive. We weren't actually trying to buy shares but we did sure as hell need to figure out if the company had been infiltrated. I decided on a simple white dress. It looked formal but casual enough.

I placed my big glasses back on in all honesty they annoyed me but it had to be done.
