This was gonna be a bit longer

"What the hell, (Tadashis mom name idk it lol)" Said Mr. Yamaguchi. To which his mom didn't say anything.

"Tadashi, lets go home." Said his father. 

"Yeah." Yamaguchi said with a swallow, he sounded like he was going to cry. After they payed, Tadashis mom grabbed Tadashis arm kind of forcefully like she was dragging him out of the restaurant. Right before they walked out of the door Tadashi looked back at Terushima with tears in his eyes while still being "dragged" by his mom.

Terushima and his dad kind of just sat there, finished their food and left. They didn't speak of it that much because it was kind of a shocking thing.

                                           (Text messages from the same night)

      Today at 7:34pm
Terushima: Hey, you okay?
Terushima: Babe?
Terushima: Yamaguchi?

Yamaguchi: sorry i just got my phone back. im ok 😅

Terushima: Its fine, does your mom always talk to you like that?

Yamaguchi: wells shes just been like that ever since i came out to her shes kinda homophobic :/ shes really strict
Yamaguchi: but when shes not always that mean its just sometimes

Terushima: I see, does she ever like hurt you?

Yamaguchi: not really she kind of just grabs me like that
Yamaguchi: like im her dog.

Terushima: Im sorry to hear that if you ever want to come over you can

Yamaguchi: Thank you ! <3

It was a few weeks untill summer break, Tadashi was almost in his second year. Terushima was almost in his third year.

For the next few weeks Yamaguchi's mental health was getting a lot worse, so was his mom. His mom always left bitchy comments and making Tadashi feel self conscious, his teammates started too notice his lack of engagement with the team and lack of eye contact with face to face speaking. His teammates, especially the third years, were starting to worry about him. They started subtly checking in with him just to see if he would say anything but those conversations always ended in him trying to change the subject or he would just say "I'm fine." 

It was the last week of of his first year, he was ready to be out of school. He wanted to be done with everything about school. But on the Monday of that week Daichi and Sugawara asked him about his mental health, 

"Tadashi, can we talk?" Said Daichi, standing next to Sugawara

"Mhm, do you need something" Tadashi said with a confused look

"Yeah, we are worrying about your mental health, you've had a lack of contact with you're teammates and I,  is there something going on?" daichi said 

Yamaguchi's eyes widened.
