POV: TAMAKI AMAJIKI

[1ST PERSON]

Clip clap, clip clap, clip clap...

My black school shoes tapped continuously on the sidewalk as I hung my head and slouched my shoulders, as usual posture.

Mirio was so excited that he went to school early, while (Y/N) had to take extra training in the morning.

Which I thought was odd for a day like this. Maybe her dad pushed her into it.

'How early does she even get up? It's a school day...'

The first school day of UA.

The quiet loneliness of the sidewalk and faint tapping of my shoes seemed all too familiar.

Maybe even kind of nostalgic.

Before I met Mirio or (Y/N), the walk or ride to school would always be solitary.

I tucked my hands deeper into my uniform's pockets.

The excitement that once filled yesterday was nowhere to be found today.

It was replaced by an old friend of mine...

Anxiety.

It creeped into my stomach and climbed up to my chest, as I thought about entering the huge school alone.

Going through the sea of crowds...
