Shuichi's POV.
I jolted up from the horrid dream I had. I hated thinking about Kiibo's dead body. How he exploded. All of it. I brought my knees to my chest and tried to quietly sob, knowing Kiibo was still sleeping.
My breathing was shaky and I started hyperventilating, trying to get air into my needy lungs.
Kiibo's POV.
I woke up to the sound of crying. Did Shu have another nightmare? I slowly opened my eyes and looked at him, he was having a breakdown. I quickly got up and rubbed his back, whispering sweet nothings into his ear.
"You're alright, everything's okay." I said, nothing happened, he continued to quickly breathe. I carefully picked him up and put him in my lap. I started humming Isabella's lullaby. (T - T)
Slowly Shuichi's breathing evened out and he looked up at me.
"S-sorry for waking you..." He stuttered, "i-it's okay S-shuichi" I said. He smiled and leaned back on me, closing his eyes. I smiled as I listened to him begin to snore. I slowly slid down the bed frame to a laying position. Shuichi turned to where his stomach was on me. I saw he was sleeping peacefully now and I closed my eyes too.
