In the middle of the forest, Yang and Grego rode down the road on their bikes while she had the man from the gas station riding behind her. The two men were shocked by the fact that Cynthia was able to keep up and perhaps run faster than them on foot. They were now further deep in the forest as the man, named Shay D. Mann, was looking around.

"How much further, pal?" Yang got out.

"This should just about do it." He spoke.

They stopped at a clearing before Shay got off and ran towards a certain direction.

"You wait here. I'll go up ahead and make sure the coast is clear."

"...Soooo, bet a hundred lien he's planning an ambush?" Cynthia wagered.

"Does man really plan on attacking strong girls like you?" Grego questioned. "Grego gave warning before, yet man not listen?"

"Just give it up..." Yang shook her head, getting off of Bumblebee. "We'll find our way to the camp even if he does."

"Might as well get to know about each other while we wait." Cynthia said, looking to Grego. "Sooo... how did your little sister get kidnapped?"

"Let's see... Grego is wandering mercenary. No place to keep Nono safe, so Grego brought her along. Grego left camp area for hunting. When Grego returned, little sister was gone and campsite was destroyed. Grego searched and searched, but Nono was nowhere."

"How did you know that bandits from the Branwen tribe took her?" Yang asked.

"Well, Grego found kidnappers left on road. When asked, kidnappers say they got ambushed by bandits from tribe of Branwen" He explained."Grego can only guess what people of Branwen want with Nono. Now we wait for shady man to come back."

"Now that just makes me want to punch that guy even more." Cynthia got out, punching the palm of her hand with a fist. "I mean, kidnapping is one thing, but kidnapping a child? Ooh, they're going to feel pain until next week!"

A rustle in the bushes alerted them as they turned to look, ready to fight. Coming out was a man with ruffled blonde hair tied in a low ponytail, adorned in a yellow tailcoat with red trimmings and fur on the cuffs, grey jeans and armed with a sword sheath on his left hip. His coat was caught by a branch and pulled on him, making him trip a bit.

"Woah! This is the last time I'll be walking through a forest in a while... Hm?" The man looked up and saw the three. "Ah! Fellow travellers I see! Pray telleth that our meeting wasn't of mere coincidence!"

". . . What?" Cynthia blinked.

"I see that introductions are a requirement..." He said, dramatically posing. "I have travelled through the lands in search of an accursed blade. One that shall quench the thirst for blood that is my fateful sword hand... And so has my dark path had begun on my journey. For I, am 'The Dark Wanderer', Owen Dark!"

The three stood in silence as Owen was smirking at his own introduction. They looked at each other for a while, thinking of what sort of person they've encountered. It was then Cynthia remembered something.

"Oh! Your name! Isn't it the same from the Dark Hero of the past?!" She exclaimed. "No, wait... Are you a descendant of Owain Dark?!"

"Ah! I see you have read about my birthright! Yes, I am indeed a descendant... Nay! A reincarnation of Owain Dark! You! What is thy name, maiden?"

"Me? I'm Cynthia." She said, getting an exaggerated gasp from Owen.

"It cannot be! The same name... The very one that was slain by the Dark Hero..." He dramatically got out. "Seems as if fate wants event's to recur... But do not fear! For I, Owen Dark shall break the chains of history and prevent the death of my fated comrade!"
