Cory carried me to the choir room set, right as Ryan Murphy called out,
"Cut! Let's take five before we shoot the next scene." Cory set me down, I walked over to Chris,
"Hey." Chris hugged me,
"Hey, you. Have a good day at school?" I nodded,
"Yup!" Chris smiled,
"Good!" Naya walked over,
"Lex! Aren't you supposed to be at rehearsal?" I hugged Naya,
"I got out early!"
Naya Rivera was basically my adopted mom, most of my major life events she was there.
"You excited for the audition?" I nodded,
"I'm ecstatic if I get it it's going to be my first real job." Although I'm 17 when I'm around the cast of Glee I act younger, I let myself act like myself. Naya laughed,
"You're going to get Beca! You've got it in the bag!" I smiled,
"Thanks, Naya." Ryan walked over,
"Lex I know you haven't seen everybody, but we have to film a scene so I need you off-camera. Besides Zach and Brooke need help to choreograph the group number." I nodded and hugged Chris,
"I'll see you later Chris." Chris hugged me back,
"Have fun!" I walked to the tin shed, which was what the dance studio had been nicknamed, Brooke saw me before I saw her,
"Lex!" I dropped my backpack by the stereo system, and hugged Brooke,
"Hey. What number are we working on?" Zach walked in,
"Hey, Lex. We're working on the group number at the end of "Grilled Cheeseus"." I nodded,
"One of Us?" Zach nodded,
"Bingo." I helped Zach and Brooke work on the group number for an hour or so before Lea walked in,
"Hey, Lex, come on, let's work on your audition." I nodded and grabbed my backpack and went with Lea to her trailer,
"Ok, so let's run through the audition." I handed Lea the sheet music,
"Hi my name is Alexis Sherrod, I am auditioning for the role of Beca Mitchell, and I will be singing She Used To Be Mine from the Broadway musical Waitress." I proceeded to sing the song and Lea clapped,
"That was perfect! You've got this audition in the bag!" I smiled and looked at my feet,
"Thanks, Lea." Lea hugged me,
"Course." Chris walked into the trailer,
"Hate to interrupt girl time, but Will wants Lex home." I laughed, of course, Dad wants me home now. Chris let me sit shotgun on the drive home,
"You alright?" I nodded,
"Yeah, just nervous about the audition." Chris grabbed my hand,
"You'll do fine. Trust me." Chris pulled into the driveway, I got out and unlocked the front door, Dad was sitting at the island,
"Hi, Dad." Dad spun around on the barstool,
"Good your home." I hugged Dad,
"I missed you." Chris walked through the door, and hugged Dad,
"Hey Babe." I smiled,
"Aww." Chris glared at me,
"Seriously." I nodded,
"Yup," Chris whispered something in Dads ear, and Dad walked over to me,
"You nervous for tomorrow?" I nodded,
"Yeah, kinda." Dad hugged me,
"Just be yourself, trust me, your going to do fine." I went upstairs, not bothering to eat something. I laid on my bed for a few minutes, wishing I could text Eve and tell him everything going on in my head, but I couldn't because it was a secret about the audition. I was about to try and get sleep when my phone buzzed,
Naya: Chris filled me in on what's going on, you alright?
Me: Yeah, just nervous about the audition.
Naya: How many times do I have to tell you, you're going to do fine.
Naya: Don't worry, and get some sleep. Sleeping helps my audition jitters.

I set my phone down, and tried to sleep. Hoping that Naya was right, that the audition would go fine.
