"Teka, bakit ba? who is it?"
sabi ni sophie habang tapos na niyang pinahiran ang mga matang lumuluha kanina. at tumingin siya sa phone ko na kanina pang nagri-ring.

Sabi ni sophie
"What am i gonna say? Will i tell?"
tanong ko sa bestfriend ko.
"It may hurt them but i think. Yes, you have to. pero-"
putol na sabi ng bestfriend ko, at, oo, alam ko kung ano ang idu-dugtong niya , it's about. . .
"Oo nga si Lola, paano?"
tanong ko
"lets just take one step at a time and answer the call."
sagot ni sophie sakin
"Whew"
i sighed then took the call
"Miss Cassandra, where are you? Madam (Si lola) is very worried because you should already be here . Your way past 8 minutes late for the dinner na set ngayon ninyo? May i know what happened to you Miss Cass?"
tanong ni Candy na asst. nang lola ko she's been like 12 years already in our company and she's very loyal. she's not that old shes 20 years old. Young and very single!
"Ah, uhm. i'm in the hospital, i collapsed earlier at school, dont worry. i'm with Sophie, just dont tell lola yet, i dont want her to know im here, she might a have a stroke or a heart attack."
i explained
"So, miss cassandra, what was your Doctor's diagnosis?"
tanong ni Candy
"I-I-I I have Leukemia Stage 2, i guess you know what that means, right?"
sabi ko habang pinipigilang umiyak, at may dead silence sa kabilang linya, then may narinig akong humagulhol. . . tsk. di' pa ako namamatay, iniiyakan na ako?
"HEY! Get over it then send me our driver , i'm going home. i'll tell Lola myself, dont worry. just text me when my drives here in the hospital *i said a certain address*"
i said coldly
"But, Miss. It can't . . . be, you know? Pwede silang makasuhan if their trying to say things that you have that even if you don't!"
giit na pag salita ni Candy
"I know what your trying to say Candy, like i said, GET OVER IT. Good bye"
