💜Chapter 2: First Day🧡

Hannah arrived and knocked, Karl looked confused on why and how she was here.

"Hannah? What are you doing here? How did you find my house? Shouldn't you be at work?" He muttered on and on.

"I was sent by the royal family" she handed him the note, "ya got the job my dude!"

Karl gasped in excitement, "Are you serious?!" He was shocked that he was getting hired considering he was new, and going to work alone.

"100 percent serious! We are now the co-worker siblings my dear brother!! Now let's head there now before our heads get chopped off." She pulled him out the house and lead him down the sidewalk.

Small conversation filled the gap between them, then Karl brought up,

"I heard you got a girlfriend, wanna tel me what that's about?" He smirked slightly while talking.

Hannah chuckled, "yes, yes, it's true. I do, her name is Sami and I swear she's the cutest girl I've ever met! She lives over there actually." Hannah point to a nicely decorated house at the end of the street with a young woman cleaning on the inside, "We work together and that's how we met."

"Well that's nice! She looks pretty too, in a platonic way though.....!!"

"Mhm... also, did that boy ever call you back? The one you had a crush on, Jamie was it?"

"Oh him... no he didn't ever" Karl sighed, feeling let down a bit.

"Well that sucks, we're here now though!" Hannah pointed to the extremely large castle, "Follow me I know where the kitchen is."

When they stepped in through the huge dark oak doors, fresh detergent smells filled the air, and it was much calmer than the other day. Maids sweeping, a few butters walking to rooms up the staircases, and cooks in the kitchen working.

He glanced over to see the king, the queen, and the prince. Karl stared a few seconds at the prince. He thought he was rather cute. Sapnap noticed him staring and smiled just a bit, flustering Karl. The royal family walked over the the siblings and introduced themselves

"Why hello there! You must be Karl, the new worker!" He held out his hand for Karl to shake.

"Uhm.. y-yes I am..." he replied, taking the hand and shaking back.

"I am sorry to leave at the moment but we have important things to do. I must put my full trust in you Karl, for the last person that was in your place wasn't so amazing..." his voiced trailed off. The king looked rather uneasy.

Karl heard the prince gulp and look very nervous, which hinted to Karl that something bad must've happened before.

"You have my word sir, for whatever... incident happened before." Karl smiled softly, the king returning the smile, and walking off with the queen and prince down a long hall.

"I'll explain 'that' later Kar, let me show you around first" Hannah pulled his sleeve towards the kitchen.

She showed him around the place, it was SUPER fancy. He was only granted access to the bottom floor, which had 3 living areas, two bathrooms, a enormous kitchen, and awfully large pantry/freezer section. Then there was the ballroom, nothing he would need though.

When they stepped into the kitchen he was greeted by George, the boy he met yesterday.

"Oh hey Karl! I see you got the job? Congratulations!"

"I did in fact George, thank you!"

The tall blond head chef that Karl saw too walked over, "Is this the new guy, Gogy?"

"He is, Dream"

Dream reached his arm out, "Good to finally meet ya! I'm the head chef, Dream. You will be cooking for the prince, am I correct?"

Karl took his hand and shook back, "I am, nice to meet you also Dream." He smiled slightly.

Another tall, brown haired man butted in, "Hi I'm Wilbur, I work in the kitchen also! Now don't let these two fool you, we see them make out in the pantry ALL the time." Wilbur rolled his eyes.

George slapped his arm, "WILBUR. DO NOT SAY THAT IN FRONT OF NEW PEOPLE!"

"What?! It's true!"

Hannah and Karl giggled, very similarly.

Again, two other people walked up, a confident-looking girl with blond hair, and a shorter man with black hair and darker skin, whom which he assumed was Hispanic/Mexican.

"Hello!" She said softly, "I'm Niki Nihachu, wonderful to meet you Karl!"

"Heya, I'm Quackity/Alex, whichever you prefer though."

"Hey, nice to meet you too" Karl replied.

Hannah's watch buzzed, "Sorry guys, I have some thing to attend to, bye bro, see you later!"

"Bye sis."

'I hope he'll be ok' Hannah thought to herself as she walked out the kitchen doors. She got lost into her train of thought when she bumped into something, or someone.

"Oh I'm sor- Hello Sappy Nappy!" She realized it was the prince, who was also really close to her.

"That's a bad nickname, quit with that crap" he facepalmed. Hannah has always came up with horrible nicknames just for him, considering she couldn't call him those in front of the officials.

"Ok then, Nickelodeon? Hehe I like that one personally"

"No. Not that or anything." He replied sternly, "what were you doing anyways?"

"Well if you must know, I was showing my brother Karl around"

"Oh the one we hired? He's cute..." Sapnap shifted his eyes away trying to fight off the obvious blush on his face.

"Yeah, I know princey, you told me at the interview." She giggled and patted his shoulder. Then added, "He was distracted, but I was watching you stare the whole time! It was hilarious dude!"

"I caught him staring at me when you two walked in... when will I get to talk to him for the first time?"

Heya my readers and friends! This one goes the NightmareisKindaHere also! As you can see, I change a lot of sentences up, but the plot is still the same from the original!
