He had finally got everything all worked out and boarded the plane back to Istanbul. Now he could get married to the woman he loved.

They'd been in the air for fifteen minutes when the plane shook violently. Serkan immediately asked the flight attendant.

"What's going on?"
"One of the engines failed. We're going back for an emergency landing."

The plane shook once more three minutes later. More violently this time.

"Both engines failed. We might not make it back for a safe landing. Do not take off your seatbelt."

He didn't. He knew he wasn't going to make it back. He knew they were going to crash.

He could feel the plane losing altitude.

Damn it.

He promised her he'd come back.
