Eda stood in front of ArtLife building, dressed impeccably for her job interview.

She took a deep breath, closed her eyes and willed herself to be calm.

You can do this. You have to do this. For your parents.

She'd found out the truth about her parents' deaths five years ago. Her grandmother told her on her deathbed.

Alptekin Bolat's negligence had cost her parents their lives.

His negligence had cost her countless memories she could have had with her parents.

The man had died of a heart attack two years before her grandmother did so her grandmother let it go.

But she couldn't.

She just.. she just couldn't.

It was eating her alive.

The fact that her parents had died and the man kept living his life with his seemingly picture perfect family didn't sit right with her.

The fact that he sufferred no consequences while her whole life had  turned upside down wasn't fair.

Did he know the couple he had killed had a daughter?

Did he know her mother had been pregnant with her baby brother?

Did he even care?

Did he...? Did he...? Did he...?

All these questions had been keeping her up at night, plaguing her dreams.

Then fantasies of revenge started.

Meticulously dreamt up plans to make the Bolats suffer a fraction of the pain they caused her.

She couldn't get to Alptekin. Or his wife, who was suffering from agoraphobia.

Their son, on the other hand...

Serkan Bolat might be the only other innocent person in all this.

Or he might not be.

As far as the rest of the world was concerned, Demir and Aysun Yıldırım had died because of the negligence of the contractor of their summer house.

The connection between the contractor and Alptekin Bolat had been covered up. Her grandmother's influence was the only reason they'd found out the truth.

So she had no idea if his son knew the truth and kept his mouth shut about it or if he himself had no idea at all.

She needed to find out what he knew before she did anything else.

Which meant she needed to get close to Serkan Bolat.

The guy was a workaholic, basically anti-social with no life so she wasn't going to be able to corner him at a bar and seduce him as she had initially planned when she started to dream up her revenge.

She wanted to get close to him, then she was going to have to get a job at his company.

What a coincidence she was working in the same industry...

Serkan Bolat, along with his two friends, had founded their company ArtLife from the ground-up, making a name for themselves with each project they took on, garnering international praise and acclaim.

They only received criticism when it came to the landscape part of their projects.

They were good. But they weren't as good as they could be.
