Hey! I'm Pastel, and I'll be conducting this interview today. I'm excited to get to know the world of graphic designing a little better!
Could you tell me a little bit about yourself?

Hi Pastel!
I'm Rose! I'm a 15 year old Indian Teen who loves crafting, fashion designing, graphic designing, and listening to music ^^

Ooh, fun! Sounds like you're very creative!
And did you enjoy making the graphics for the contest?

Yes I surely did enjoy this graphic war since I tried so many different styles in each round! It was really fun and helped me explore my creativity in graphic designing ❥

Oh, nice! Which round was your favorite?

It was surely Round 5 where we had to make an album cover as it was a lot fun making it considering my obsession with stars lol

That does sound like fun! What was your least favorite?

All the rounds were really fun so I can't decide ':D

And about how long have you been creating graphics for?

I've been creating graphics since September 2020 and it's really been an amazing journey so far ^^

Ah, nice! Do you have a graphic designer who inspires you?

TheWonderWitch , -decepted , stylesoftimothee are a few of the graphic designers who inspire me a lot in the designing field ^^

I'm sure they'd be thrilled to hear that! And that leads me to ask you, what got you into graphic designing in the first place?

When one of my friend's wanted a cover for her book I made it for her and then gradually I started searching for other graphic designers, getting inspired from their designs I started experimenting with different apps :)

Cool. What kind of graphic do you enjoy making the most? And the least?

I enjoy making covers and banners a lot. But stickers and icons are not my cup of tea ':D

Ah, cool! And do you have any feedback about the war?

The war was really fun and exciting but the only thing I found lacking in the war was the fact that all the participants were not posting their resources along with their graphic which caused plagiarism in a few of the rounds so maybe the hosts can make posting resources a compulsory rule next time ^^
Other than that I really had a good time in the war ☺

And lastly, what advice would you have for beginner designers?

For beginners, I would just like to tell them to experiment new things and not just do what other designers are doing because there's no rule that u have to make your graphics in that particular way. Also the key to become a good GD is to not compare yourself with other designers cause everyone's unique in their own way!
