The Killer Duo// Mattheo Riddle

Part 21

             "Where are we," I asked him

"The Forest of Dean," he said walking towards the forest

"How do we find them?"

"With our eyes," he said

We've been walking for an hour now and there is no sign of them at all. Mattheo walked over to a tree and sat down, he put his head to his knees and I was about to walk over to a tree when part of my foot disappeared. I looked up and realized this is where the Golden trio is hiding, they have been using a Protective Enchantment this whole time.

"Blackwood?" Asked Riddle as he looked at me curiously

"What?"

"I said, did you find something" he repeated

"No, I just think we should set up our tent for the night," I said walking away

"Where?" He asked

"Right here" I pointed towards a spot close to the beach

"Worst spot ever" he mumbled

"You let me pick" I spat at him, we sat up the tent and walked in

"Where is your tent," I asked him

"There isn't another tent you dingbat, you sleep on the left I sleep on the right," he said to me

"Right," I said as I laid down on the left side under the blanket, I looked up and saw Riddle taking off his shirt

"What are you doing?" I asked him

"You don't expect me to sleep with a shirt on do you?" He asked as he laid down on the right side

"Goodnight Romeo" I whispered

"Goodnight Blackwood" he grumbled in a whisper, I waited until I heard him snoring to exit the tent

I walked to where my foot has disappeared and put my hand through the charm. My arm disappeared so I walked through the charm,

"Harry? Hermione? Ron?" I asked in a whisper

"Emerald? Is that you?" I heard a whisper

"Yes" once I said that I got dragged into a tent and when I looked up I saw Hermione, Ron, and Harry in front of me.

"We uh- saw how you saved us," said Harry with his head down

"Yes, is it true you with them?" Asked Ron

"The Death Eaters? No, I don't have the mark" I said pulling up my sleeves and showing my arms

"We're not idiots Emerald, well some of us are," she looked at Ron "but we know the Dark Lord is using you, Emerald choose the good side, not the bad side," she said

"Hermione, everyone's views are different, from your perspective the Dark Lord is the bad side but from the Dark Lords' perspective you are the bad side. I can't win either way I choose, so why don't choose both?" I said

"You can't choose both," said Ron with a judgemental look

"Watch me," I said walking out of the tent "I just saved all of your lives and I finished a task for the Dark Lord so I've been doing both this whole time," I said as I walked out of the Enchantment. I walked back to the beach where the tent was, then walked inside.

"Where were you" grumbled Riddle as he rolled over to look at me

"Had to pee" I lied

"For 34 minutes?"

"Yes, did you count"

"It doesn't matter, go to sleep," he said as I laid down and closed my eyes

When I woke up, Riddles arm was around my waist and my back was in his chest. I saw he was shivering so I pulled the cover back over him, he pulled me closer into his chest until he woke up. We both looked at each other before looking at the position we were in and scrambled away from each other. We both stood up and went out of the tent, he went right I went left. I paced the beach before going back into the tent and brushing out my hair decently. I walked back out and saw Riddle standing in the forest.

"Let's go," he said

"It's not even sunrise," I said rubbing the crust out of my eyes

"Even better" he mumbled before walking, we walked until we decided to head back to the tent. When we arrived at the tent we saw Snatchers sitting by the tent,

"There they are," Fenrir Greyback said smiling

"What are you all doing here" commanded Riddle

"Your father needs both of you at the Manor, well take it on from here," he said circling me as he twirled my red, auburn hair around his dirty finger.

"Get your hands off her" snarled Riddle as Greyback let go of my hair and put his hands up, Riddle snatched my arm and apparated us to the Malfoy Manor. In the Dining Room was The Dark Lord,

"Come here you two," he said as we both walked over

"We were not even on that task for a day father," Riddle said to the Dark Lord

"Silence boy, you two are both going to interrogate prisoners for me," he said as he gave Riddle the keys to the dungeon

We walked down to the Dungeon and I saw four people, a little goblin from Gringotts, Dobby, Mr. Ollivander, an-and Luna.

"Luna?" I asked as I ran up to her and hugged her

"Oh, hi Emerald funny seeing you here isn't the garden beautiful" she smiled

"Luna, there is no gar- you know what it is very pretty," I said going along with it, I sat there while Riddle did all the talking to them about Harry, Harry, and more Harry.

"That's enough," I said dragging Riddle by the arm out of the dungeons

"I had a lot of other questions" he grumbled

"And I'm sure they had the same answer, 'I don't know, seriously all of those questions were about Harry they could only answer that he was the chosen one," I said as Riddle rolled his eyes

"You should go to bed," he said

"You should too, Goodnight Romeo," I said walking towards my room

"Goodnight Blackwood," he said before walking towards his room.
