Elizabeth's POV

Me and my best friend Tom we're in my bedroom talking about the new school year. It seems like there was something on his mind so I did most of the talking even though he didn't seem like he was listening until I brought up the new kid. Tom's eyes immediately stared at me."what" I ask.

Tom look me straight into my eyes as if he was looking at my soul. "Elizabeth," he started, all my friends either called me Liz or Lizzie unless there talk about something serious. He took a pause as if he was choosing his words wisely then he started speaking, "You have to stay away from the new kid. Do you understand me." even though he was asking a question it seemed more like a statement.

" Why? Do you know him?," I questioned.

" Doesn't matter. You will stay away from him," He spat. I knew he didn't want to explain himself so I simply agreed.

Time Skip

" Elizabeth, hurry up we are going to be late," my father yelled. I quickly changed and went downstairs. We got to the train and me and Draco were trying to find our friends. We finally found them and sat down.

We were talking for 10 minutes before I heard the train leave and Tom still wasn't here. " Do you guys know where Tom is," I asked.

" If your so worried about him then why don't you go find him," my brother spat. My brother was an idiot but he was right maybe Tom was in another compartment.

" Maybe I will," I said as I got up to go find Tom. I looked around and I didn't find him until I went to the last compartment. I saw him sitting with a guy with brown hair. He was also very attractive.

I walked and opened the door. " Where were you Tom," I asked clearly pissed I had to go find him. I paid no attention to the boy next to him. " Are you coming to sit with us or what," I said.

"Not today, darling. But you can go sit with them," he stated. I was now so mad I could literally feel my face turn red.

" I was looking around the entire train to find you and you have the audacity to tell me to go sit back down. If I wanted to sit there I wouldn't have gotten up to look for you Tom," I said louder than I expected too. The other boy laughed at my outburst clearly finding it funny. I glared at the boy and yelled," What are you laughing at."

"You, love" he stated smirking. Who does he think he is? What an asshole I thought.

"Who the hell are you? I asked. He looked at me clearly shocked I didn't know who he was.

He put his hand on his heart dramatically and said," You didn't tell your friends who I am. Ouch!"

" Liz this is my brother Mattheo Riddle," I've known Tom since first year and he didn't tell me he had a brother. Why didn't he tell me? I was so. Confused but mostly I was mad I just walked out I didn't want to talk to Tom because I knew if I started talking I would have said something I most likely would seriously regret.
