LEAH FELT LIKE A STALKER as she hid in the dark alley. She had been incredibly bothered by Bucky's presence. It had provoked a gnawing feeling within her that made her bones itch with discomfort. It felt like a virus; one she couldn't quite shake. It had pestered her to the point where she had tracked him down a few hours after the unplanned encounter.

The information that could be obtained by hacking a few security cameras was incredible— but also highly illegal.

It was cold outside and the sun had gone down down hours ago. It didn't stop Leah; the stubborn female remaining in her spot as she watched the former Winter Soldier have dinner with an unfamiliar woman. Is that his soulmate? She couldn't help but wonder, realizing how nice it felt to not constantly stress about her own life.

«Poor girl,» She mumbled in amusement as she watched Bucky try to stop the plastic cat's hand from waving back and forth.

Leah was uncertain of how many hours that had passed, but by the time she was ready to head home Bucky stormed out of the cozy restaurant. He wore a frown over his face, anxiety clouding his bright eyes. She concentrated her eyes on the tall male and she watched as he took a few deep breaths, attempting to calm himself down before he started walking down the street.

She knew he wasn't dumb; with his dialed senses he could hear the enemy coming from miles away. Leah made sure to be quiet and kept her distance on the semi busy street. She subtly moved her eyes, making sure no one paid attention to her as she turned invisible, her skin melting together with her surroundings. Leah couldn't help but notice that whatever had upset him was making him sloppy— he hadn't even glanced in her direction.

Leah followed him into an apartment complex, stopping a few doors away, standing just around the corner from him. She felt her skin flicker; switching between visibility and invisibility. It had been happening ever since she was brought back from the Blip, but she refused to ask for help or talk to anyone about it. No one knew it was an issue— expect for Bucky who had figured it out during his own therapy-session.

She pretended to struggle with unlocking one of the many doors down the hallway, listening to the hushed conversation between him and another male. Her eyes nearly met Bucky's when he suddenly walked past her and exited the building. He hadn't noticed her, his head drowning in thoughts. A wave of relief rippled through her body as he hadn't spotted her.

A few minutes passed before Leah walked over to the very same door Bucky had stood outside, curiosity bouncing off her shoulders as she knocked gently. The door opened mere seconds after, a short and grumpy-looking man standing there.

«What now...» The old man mumbled as he looked at her in confusion, expecting Bucky.

«I live a few doors up,» Leah lied, her eyes darting over what she could make out of his apartment.

«The post man keeps mixing up my mail so I just wanted to check if you've gotten any?» She trailed off, Nakajima scratching his head as he went to check in his pile of unopened letters. Leah took the opportunity to poke her head inside, her eyes landing on a picture with candles lit around. She took a step back, getting a heavy feeling inside of her chest.

«It's only in my name,» He said as he returned to the door.

«Alright, sorry for bothering you Mister..»

«It's Nakajima, anything else you want to bother me about?» He finished bitterly, Leah shaking her head and apologizing before she waved goodbye. She felt his eyes linger on her as she walked away. He recognized her— he just didn't know from where.

Leah exited the building with quick steps. She instantly pulled her phone up, her fingers shaking as they danced over the screen. She searched Nakajima's name in the database, running it through every single one until she found the name of the boy in the picture. She had to lean against the wall for a moment as she found out he was dead, plenty pictures of the Winter Soldier showing up. She nearly threw up as she read the files of RJ Nakajima, her body flickering between visibility and invisibility like a disco lamp.
