Y/N's POV
I don't know how long I was out or where the hell I was, but when I woke up that dull pain was still throbbing in my head. Once again, lights blinded my eyes as my eyes adjusted. When I finally regained my vision, I looked around and realized I was in the lab on a table under some sort of machine. I heard two familiair voices and saw my dad and Steve outside the lab on the otherside of the glass wall arguing. The door to the lab was cracked just enough where I could clearly hear their voices.
"Tony, this has got to stop. She is not some specimen that we can experiment on or run endless tests."
"Cap, I appreciate your impute, I really do, but I don't care what you have to think, to be perfectly and brutally honest. Something is wrong with her, and I am simply trying to figure out what. Ok?"
"Yes, I agree. Something needs to be done to help her, but this," he pointed to where I lay on the table, "is not the way. Just look at her. She needs to be in some hospital facility, someplace where they can take care of her. Tony, look at her. She is strapped down the the table, every limb in her body, like some crazy dangerous psychopath. And don't get me started on that...that...room...meant to keep her from destroying anything."
"By the way it not a room," Tony answered back rolling his eyes, "it's a high tech holding container. And yes it is used so she doesn't destroy anything, but more importantly hurt anybody else or herself. It's just temporary."
"Tony do you not see how this is wrong? She is your daughter, and all she wants in the world is to be loved by you...nothing else...what do you do? Lock her up like an animal and run tests on her instead of just waiting until she heals some."
"Yeah, you're right about one thing. She is my daughter, not yours, and I am doing what I think is best."
"Best for her or best for you, Tony? Yeah its just easier to push her away because she is suffering and that hurts you, I get it. Family comes before anything though, but you haven't figured that out yet."
My dad stepped closer to Steve a breaths distance away, "Don't talk to me about family Rogers, not you. At least I have one."
"What's better to have a family and leave it to be taken care of and loved by someone else, or to not have a blood family but love someone who needs one."
My dad didn't respond, he just stood there staring deeply into Cap's eyes neither of them breaking the stare.
I hadn't realized it, but I was indeed strapped down the the table. There was a clamp on each of my wrists, forearms, ankles, over my abdomen, and around my neck, making any movement nearly impossible. Dr. Banner, unaware of my consciousness, had moved my under a different machine. It was only inches from my face. I started to get claustrophobic and began to panic. I started to scream and cry and breathing became difficult.
"SOMEONE! HELP ME! SOMEONE GET ME OFF OF HERE!" I screamed and tried to wiggle free. My struggling only cause the straps holding me down to cut deep into my skin becuase they were so tight. Dr. Banner had already left the lab, so I thought nobody could hear me so I screamed louder, tears running down my cheeks, some pooling in my eyes.
Then I heard a loud bang on the door and saw Steve trying to get it. My dad, Nat, Clint, and Vision were trying to pull him away, while Thor and Wanda just stood there watching. I was divinding the Avengers.
"Steve, she's going crazy again and until we know what's going on, I can't let her out," my dad said trying to calm him down.
"I'm not crazy, I promise, just let me out," my screams subsiding turning into pleading and begging.
