Chapter 17.

Walking down the school hallway Marwah look up to see a smiling Noah walking towards her.

"Hey, beautiful." He said standing in front of her.
"HI" she smiles at him. "You weren't in class" she says, when Noah hold her hand.

"Yea I'm sorry. I woke up late, but I will see you in lunch."
"Lunch again? But I wanted to have lunch with Nathaly." She said looking down and pulling her hand from His, making him sigh. "No" he says shaking his head.

"Babe we have 29 days left for school. We are both aren't gonna see each other for 2 month. I'm going to lose my mind. I want to spend some time with you. Other than school. You don't even want to even answer my call. So we are having lunch together everyday."

"I do answer your call, almost every day" he nods rolling his eyes.

"You just roll your eyes at me?" she says fake glaring at him. Which made him chuckle.
"My apologies babe, okay I will see you in" he paused leaning closer "Lunch" kissing her hand, he walk away.

Her cheeks still turns red, when he does that. Almost every time they see each other. Smiling she continues her walk, to the locker section.

"HEY" Nathaly said jumping in front of her, she step back while her heart beat racing. marwah slightly hit her shoulder, as Nathaly was laughing.

"Very funny." Marwah said unlocking her locker.
"Gosh, the face you made was...." She paused since Marwah was glaring at her. "Alright...alright." Putting her books inside, she locked her locker.

"Okay....so I'm going out with this guy...During lunch, so don't wait for me." Nathaly said as they slowly started walking.

"Ohhhh" Nathaly nods. "Yup....alright i have to go" she said hugging Marwah.

Lunch time

"Yes, I know this year went by quickly. We have less than a month for school to end." Gicel, Marwah and nathaly were walking in the hallway as it was lunch time

"Bye guys Allen is in the parking lot." "Have a good
Time with him" Nathaly said winking at her.

"Shut up" gicel said walking away smiling.

"Okay, I need to go too"

Walking to the restroom, Marwah wash her hands, and fix her hijab. When a group of girls enter the restroom. "Aren't you and Noah dating?" The blond girl said. The other nods "yea...you are so lucky girl." Marwah fake smiles at them and walk out.

She exit the building and walk towards Noah, who looks up at her smiling he got up.

"Hey, love." He says, she just nods sitting down.

He sat in front of her, "you okay?" She nods looking at her hands.

There was already a burger, a French fries and one soda on the table.

He holds her left hand making her look up "tell me something wrong?" He says softly. She shakes her head. "Leave my hand!" "Why?" "Because —because I want to eat" he nods understanding.

Today, Noah noticed that something was off.
After a little while, he took her drink and drank from the same straw she had been using. He grinned and looked at her, causing her to look up at him.

"That was mine" she said, "sharing is good, don't you know?" She shake her head, while he laugh.

Time escape

Allen and a beaming gicel parked their car, got out, and started walking when Allen noticed Noah and Marwah standing up and holding hands.

Walking up to them.
Gicel exclaimed with a smile, "Oh my god. You guys look so freaking like a cute couple."

"That's because they are" Allen commented.

Marwah who look down at their hands and back to Noah.

"Thank you for lunch...I need to go, excuse me." with that she started walking away. Noah glare at Allen.
"What, what Did I do?" Allen said
Noah shake his head and follow Marwah inside, and he spotted her with David.

He went closer to them and heard their conversation

"Yea. I'm moving since my mother's job was transferred to another state." David stated while addressing Marwah.

"Oh... Um... I don't know what to say. I am sorry "
David lean closer to her. "I will miss you." Just then the bell rings, she looks at him "have good summer David" after few conversations they exchanged, he left.

Marwah did not go to her last period, instead. She exited the building from the back door, and walk home.

As she was walking, she felt this weird feeling. 'What am I doing? Getting too close to him? I-I love him.....why? How? Why did I let him come close to me. It was all my fault! And almost everyone thinks we are together. Letting him hold my hand?...I hate feeling weak, I hate feeling this. I hate it...I hate how...I can't be with him.' Some tears left her eyes, as she reach her house.

Noah POV

Where is she at? I have been waiting for, for the last 15 minutes in class. I called her, no answer. I ask around if anyone saw her.

It's like she disappeared. Feeling uneasy I walk out of school and call my security guards and ask if anyone have seen her around.

Finding out, she had left school early and was on her way to her house. But why?

She needs to talk to me. I can't let her leave like this, is she okay? Without wasting any second, I got in my car and drove to her car.

I feeling nervous and mad at the same time. I knocked on her door thrice. Before the door open.

Looking at me her eyes widen. She was wearing a hoodie.

"Noah—" she said looking around and back to me.

"My darling, what happen? Why suddenly left school? Everything okay?" I said softly and looking at her.

She put on a serious face, "nothing..Noah go away" she said closing the door when I put my hand between the door.

"Why didn't you answer my calls? I know something happen something is wrong." "please leave now" she said coldly

"Why are you acting like this? We were okay then?"

"I will talk to you tomorrow"

"Are you mad at me?" I question. Ignoring my question she said "Noah, I need you to leave. Don't dare to come here again. I said I will talk to you tomorrow" with that she close the  door on my face.

End POV

Noah took a step back. Blinking again and again, yes that hurt him. His eyes darken, Anger took over him. Nodding his head he walk away and got inside his car and drove off.
