it had been about a week and some change since we met deangelo and his friends, and since then we had been hanging out everyday. today we were going to the beach, as i suggested last week.
i pulled up to the front of my place, and parked my car. i was coming home from a morning shift at work.
i worked at a makeup salon down the street from me. one of my mother's friends ran the business, and gave me a job there when i was 15. since then, i've been working there.
i walked out of the car and up the stairs to my apartment. i unlocked the door, and hopped in the shower.

it was around 5:30, i facetimed slim since deangelo wasn't answering my fuckin call.
"what nigga?" he asked and rubbed his face. he said looked like he was still laying in bed.
"first of all why the fuck you in bed nigga?!" i yelled. "get the fuck up."
"yo son..." he started. "did you fuckin' call me to annoy me?"
"no nigga." i said. "what the fuck my man doing?" i asked, and raised an eyebrow. "and why the fuck would you comment that on my picture?!"
"mane ion know, i think he sleep or sumn, and 'cause i knew you was gone pull some bullshit today." he said with a mug on his face.
