Chapter 35

                       SOPHIA'S POV
   I woke up the next morning scanning the New environment I found myself in and I remember everything that happened yesterday and how I'll be staying with Tyler's mom for a couple of days. I check the time on my phone and it was 7:04am, pretty early but not too early for some pancakes. I wonder if she has everything needed to make pancakes for Breakfast.

    I walk into the bathroom and find a new unopened toothbrush and Colgate toothpaste then I brush my teeth. After I was done I pack my hair into a Bun and head downstairs to the kitchen.
     Inside the kitchen I grab one of the Aprons on the counter and put it on.
I open the cabinet and find a bag of flour and a can of Baking powder...

I bring them down and grab a bowl from one of the drawers and a whisk spoon.

   I head to the fridge to see if she had eggs and when I open it I see a box of eggs untouched and a Can of milk. I open one of the top drawers and grab the mini sugar bag and a tiny nutmeg and dry pepper.

After I was done mixing everything together I set the frying pan on the stove and start making Pancakes...
  I notice a mini speaker in the kitchen and wonder if I could connect my phone to it to play a little music... I see a switch and I put it on, connecting my phone to the speaker and playing on of my favorite songs

      I sang along the started jumping to the chorus like I was in some sort of night club feeling the beat of the song going through my veins...

"Sophia?" I hear my name and I stop, actually almost tripped cause I was startled.
"Mom... Good morning"
"What are you doing?"
"Uhm... I made pancakes for breakfast" she yawns and wipes the remaining sleep from her eyes
"Sophia you shouldn't have"
"No no I wanted to, as a way of letting me stay here with you" she smiles
"I can't let my daughter sleep outside in the streets can I?" She says with a wide smile and I smile back
"Well just make yourself comfortable while I serve you"
"Yes ma'ame" she smiles and walks to the Kitchen counter and sits...
"You got any chocolate syrup?" I ask Opening the fridge
"Yeah it's in the fridge dear " she says and I do
"There it is" I grab it and hand it over to her with a plate of pancakes
"Thank you" I hand over a fork to her and she chows down. I fry the rest and pack some for Tyler in a plastic plate then place mine on a plate.

    After breakfast I washed up the dishes and went upstairs to shower, after showering I picked out a black oversized hoodie and black jeans  that May brought for me. Then I head downstairs. I aight Tyler's mom and I walk up to her.

"Are you ready?" She asks me and I nod, I rush to the kitchen to get Tyler's pancakes and chocolate syrup. She grabs her purse and phone and we head out driving straight to the Hospital.

"Tyler dear, can I come in?" She knocks on his door
"Yes mum" we enter his room to find him looking outside the window
"I'm finally getting discharged tomorrow" he says and even though he was backing us I sighted his cheeks...
"I brought you pancakes" I said and his head snaps towards us....
"For real?" He asks walking up to me, I stretch out the bag I had in my hand and he collects it, opening up the rubber plate and sniffing it.... A wide smile spreads across his face
"It smells so good" he says to me and I smile...
"Why don't you taste it?"
"You don't have to tell me twice" I chuckle at his response as I watch him take a bite, a moan escapes his lips as he savors the taste of the chocolate coated pancakes
"Oh my..." I wide smile spreads across my face

"You like?" He nods wildly and I laugh "Well I'm glad you're enjoying it"

"Mum can you excuse Sophia and I for a bit I want to talk to her about something "

"Not a problem my dear" she says standing up and walking out
"How are you holding up?" He asks pouring syrup on his pancakes and taking a bite
"What do you mean?" I ask slightly confused

"You're staying with my mom now aren't you? How is it? Are you good is she treating you well?" He asks all this questions wide eyed

"Yes she is" I say with a smile and he bows his head, looking deep in thoughts, I place my hand on his making him turn to me

"I know you're still trying to get used to the fact that your mom is back but trust me when I say she's trying her best this time, trying to make sure that she doesn't fuck up like the first time, at least your mom is still here with you, take advantage of this chance before it's too late" he nods in response and I smile

He turns back to his pancakes and I walk out to go call his mom and I notice her talking to Tyson, Tyler's older brother

"What do you mean by your fathers out on bail!" I hear her scream, I see Tyson trying to place his hands on hers to calm her down but she pulls out of his grip

"How the fuck did he get bail, he was meant to go on trial after Tyler gets discharged from the hospital" she screams and I watch as Tyson moves his hands through his hair anxiously

"I don't know mom! I don't know! And I went back home to check if he was back but when I got in I noticed that all his belongings were gone, his clothes, his passports, the Lexus, it's all gone! Mom I'm so fucking scared of my dad his a fucking lunatic!"

"Don't mention any of this to your brother, at least for the time being and be careful" she says holding his face, and then they hug

"I just came to tell you all this, I've got a lot of work to do so I'm heading back to the office I'll call you later at night" Tyson says kissing his mother's forehead and walking away, she stands still with her hands knitted together lost in her thoughts, I walk up to her and she comes back to reality

"Are you good?" I ask her and she looks at me smiling lightly

"Yeah"
"I'm done talking to Tyler so you can go in now"
"Oh alright then"

    After the visit to the hospital to check up on Tyler, his mom took me to the mall to get new clothes saying I can't wear Tyler's clothes for the rest of my life and I was also outta underwear too

"Just pick what you want dear I need to talk to one of the workers here I'll be with you in a couple of minutes" she says walking away.  

     
     Alright Sophia lets go for underwear's first. I walk towards the underwear section I picked out two matching underwear's one laced underwear.

 Next I went to the nightwear section and I picked out a grey simple nighty, it was a top and shorts then I went to the dress section and I picked out one yellow floral dress that was about mid thigh length and then I picked one white body hug dress, and one black oversized T-shirt, then I went to the shoe section and picked out a pair of black sandals, I know what y'all might be thinking, for a girl that's under someone she sure knows what she wants, uhmm duh!! I grew up in a rich home, when I was done I went back to the counter and gave one of the workers to pack it up and then Tyler's mom came and paid for everything and then we left the mall and went to McDonald's for Dinner cause we were both to tired to cook anything
