1x06; ʟᴏsᴛɢɪʀʟs ᴘᴛ2 ──────❝ 𝐌𝐲 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫❞──────
Athena and Caroline walked into the Gilbert household with wary expressions. They looked around for Jeremy but got nothing. They didn't hear the TV in the living room or movement upstairs. Athena panicked and dropped her jacket before running upstairs
"Oh my god... Jeremy!" She yelled bolting up the stairs
She was terrified with so many thoughts going through her head. What if Damon got to him and took him? She couldn't bare her brother being taken from her. She quickly ran to her room, knowing he liked to stay there and chill there when people were gone.
"Athena wait!" Caroline said picking up her coat and placing their stuff on the couch. She might as well check the downstairs before going after her friend
Athena opened her room door and saw how is was this morning but some of her art tools were missing. She went to Jeremys room and saw the bed messed up and some of his books were scattered on his desk. She checked Jennas room and Elenas but nothing, he wasn't in any of the rooms.
"Athena, there's nobody downstairs" Caroline told her softly
She started hyperventilating. She couldn't find him anywhere in the house. He would never leave without telling Athena because he knew she would worry. And she is worrying
"Athena calm down okay. His phone probably died.. or.. or he left it here" Caroline tried to reassure her but it wasn't working
Athena leaned against the wall trying to catch her breath. Where could he be? As kids Jeremy never liked to be alone and even if he was he would stay in Athenas room because it reminded him of her. To this day he does the same thing if he is ever feeling alone or if he is left home alone.
Kol looked back one time at his soulmate before walking away to look for Jeremy. He vamp sped around the house before stopping at the one door he didn't check in. The attic. He walked through the door and saw Jeremy laying on the ground with headphones sleeping. He shook his head with a slight smile before vamp speeding to Athena
He walked to where she was and leaned close to her ear, "Attic" He whispered and Athenas head shot up
She turned to her left and unknowingly locked eyes with Kol, "Thank you, whoever you are" She whispered back before turning to Caroline
Kol nodded at her with heated cheeks. Only she could make him flustered
"I know where he is!" She didn't give her friend time to respond as she runs to the end of the hall where the attic ladder is
