6 years later in the middle of the summer (Apulia / Italy)

"Nun arivammo mai" whined a little brunette girl restlessly and annoyed in Italian on the back seat of a VW Beetle.

Translated it means something like "We will never arrive!" and caused a young pretty lonhaired woman to sigh loudly.

" Roberta Daniela di Mulini. You already know that there are 2 hours to go until we arrive in Lecce. You also want to make your holidays there right? I can already assure you that the wait will definitely be worth it! You can also choose the next song! "negotiated the pretty middle-aged woman with her 5-year-old daughter in the hope that the whining would finally come to an end.

"Il gatto e la volpe. And I want to stop and eat at the next opportunity. "The little girl skilfully seized the opportunity to negotiate with her mother, knowing that she would do anything to put an end to her daughter's whining.

" Vabbè Roberta . Abbiamo un d'accordo "she admitted defeat but laughted softly at her.

" Aggio vinto "grinned her little daughter triumphantly and reached forward to the volume control, so that the song could be heard through the whole car.

"Roberta .... it's called" ho vinto ". "I've won" The verb Avere in Present is not so difficult Amore: Ho, Hai, Ha, Abbiamo, Avete, Hanno. How many times have I told you that I don't want you to speak Dialetto napolitano  but the formal language " the woman sighed again and shot an appraising look at her daughter when she cheekily showed her her tongue and she just decided to ignore it, making a mental note not to let her come through with it.

" Maybe you are using your sweet little tongue to sing! " she offered and got also into the song with a "che si fanno
In quattro per te" herself and, apart from the sparse traffic, didn't really notice anything of the outside world.

Neither the burned grassland that led into a large, modern, spacious riding stable, nor the southern center of the mysterious city, which is well worth seeing which bore the name Favolelecce and could not even be found on the Italian map or on the Internet, as if it did not exist.

They finally stopped at a bed and breakfast called "Antica osteria di Nonna "because the adult woman could only remember her daughter's condition well enough to stop at the next opportunity to eat and she did not want her whining to start again.

" Contenta principessa mia? " The pretty long-haired woman couldn't suppress a grin when she opened the back door of her small car for Roberta and held out her hand to the little whirlwind in the car to give her the chance to take it.

"Sì" announced the little girl happily and almost proudly walked into the Bed and Breakfast holding her hand and bravely wanted to let go of her mother's hand as the force of the foreign language she did not speak and the oppressive silence mixed in immediately announced to everyone present, hit the little girl with full force and then thought it would be better to take her mother's hand, as she felt more secure with it.

"Good afternoon to all of you too ... Do we look like aliens? If not everyone can go back to their daily routine. With the staring you all just unsettled my daughter. Well, honey, what are you hungry for? " the pretty woman announced almost sassy in italian and turned on her heel for the last sentence to her daughter.

She just moved the "strangers" out of her head who were all staring at her as if she and her daughter would be from mars.

With not reacting to their odd behaviour forwards strangers and caring for her daughter, despite of the whispering in the room she showed all of them that they were stronger than they looked like and that they wouldn't bend their knees so easily.

"Regina ..." whispered a completely stranger man in awe who apparently dared to break the uncertain silence and got up from his table, on which he sat with a teenager and a toddler, in order to approach her and make her feel more uncomfortable as before and at the same time unbelievable comfortable in one, because he called her first name as if his life would depend on it.

As if he wouldn't believe that it was actually her and that she was here.

And from the way he looked at her daughter he could tell that he felt the grait urge to give her the world. To give both of them the world.

"Why the hell do you know my name? Are you stalking us...! Did you follow us from
Napels until here? By the way... it's still Signora di Mulini for you, "she snapped at the stranger in Italian, trying to regain control of the situation and the people involved, but realized that this failed completely.

Worse, the man even began to grin slightly, as if he didn't care about her threat, no.

As if he had been expecting her reaction and simply had zero respect or fear for her.

"Mi scusi signora. Non voglio farla arrabbiata. Signora di Mullini ... Mi presento: Robin of Locksley ... Parlano Inglese" the stranger had apparently picked up his manners from the floor and now seemed to want to use all his Italian knowledge to defuse the situation and make an impression on her.

And to her own surprises it worked on her.

"Regina e Roberta di Mulini. Let's say, a little bit "she replied a little confused because she had assumed that he spoke Italian, but choose not to think about it any longer.

Slowly and kind of sexy she pulled the long wooden stick, which had held her hair together in a bun, out of her smooth and slippery hair to renew the hairstyle.

Although Robin knew that it was not the proper English way to stare so closely, or so hungry, in such a desire and demanding way at a "strange" woman, just because she renewed her hairstyle and then turned back to her daughter with full attention, he couldn't help himself not to do so.

God damn it, the three rings she still wears on her right ring finger proved that she was not a stranger at all to him anyway and everybody in this room as well as the whole city knew it.

"It's not very gentlemen like to stare at a strange woman like that ... "it flew immediately grinning over Regina's lips when she realized the almost hungry look which was full of desire of the man who called himself Robin in the corner of her eye and now turned completely to her interlocutor, so she had a better chance to look at him

" Is there a possibility that a gentleman, in spite of the faux pas he has just stepped in, can invite the pretty woman in front of him and her adorable daughter, loading in the hope that they both spend some time with him and his sons? " Robin couldn't help but take the initiative straight away to invite Regina and their daughter to join Roland, Henry and himself on the table, while he apologised to her.

After the long, long 6 years they had to spend apart from each other, he wanted to spend as much time as possible with them.

"Yes...that is... possibility... che ne dici Roberta? Voresti stare un poccino di tempo con Robin e i suoi figli?" she said in broken English to Robin in agreement for her, before she turned to her little daughter and gently stroked her hair.

"Sìì Mammà" exclaimed the little one almost enthusiastically and jumped along with them as they went to the table together to meet Roland and Henry.

"A good looking, charming single father and 2 boys, one of them in the age of Roberta. For sure it doesn't hurt to share a table and spend some time with each other." though Regina as she sat down at the nice bench on Robins Table near the older boy, which caused her to smile at him friendly.

What she didn't realised was, that the older ones had a sad face expression when he looked at her, but she do realised that the younger boy was just confused.

In addition she knew that she would never ever ever fall in love again. So what could possibly ho wrong...
