Alya's POV:
"So, how's your fictional dead hamster doing?" Nino asked Leya, stuffing more pizza into his mouth like the uncultured swine he is.
"Wow, Nino, it's been two years and you only care now." She tutted, shaking her head disapprovingly.
"Nino, he died two months ago." Mari said, feigning sadness, and i snorted,
"Yeah, he got diabetes."
Adrien burst out laughing,
"Why is this the conversation we're having?"
"Because we're running out of nonsensical ones and we don't want to resort to the normal ones." Leya chuckled, swatting away Luka's hand as he played with her pink strands.
"Luka, leave my hair alone, you're not a child." She dramatically scolded him, and he grinned,
"Who told you that?"
Gosh they were cute. Taking another fry from the larger-than-average plate in the middle of our circular table, I whispered to Nino,
"When do you think Juleka will get tired of them?" He snorted quietly and shrugged,
"It can't be that bad. Rose has Juleka in good moods most of the time now, remember?"
"Ah, young love. 'Tis so romantic."
"Luka, neon green would look sooo good!" Leya's patented whiny voice interrupted our riveting conversation. "Alya, tell her!"
Casting an almost inconspicuous glance to Mari, i bit my lip and responded,
"Luka, we all want you to do it! Having alien hair is all the rage right now." Leaning back in my chair, Luka cast me a don't-encourage-her look, to which i grinned triumphantly.
"See, Luka! It should totally be a thing, it would be so iconic!"
"No, Leya. The day i change my blue hair you're changing yours to yellow."
Immediately, all three of us feminine beings yelled, "No, no, no!" While the boys just made fun of us.
"How could you say such a thing? I'm going to throw up just thinking about it..."
Nino rolled his eyes and took the last slice of pizza, as Adrien drank the rest of his water.
"Well guys, Mari and i have gotta go. We're doing something special tonight." As he got up and helped Marinette's put on her coat, we all waved as Luka said smirking,
"Have fun. But not too much fun."
"Luka!"
"What, I'm the only adult here!"
"Didn't you just call yourself a child like ten minutes ago?"
"no..."
