Ozpin: so let me see if I got this right. You left your home with a help of your friend because you were forced into a life of pain, fighting, loss and death. ... I can understand that but I still have some concerns, for example, your ID card is in a foreign language, one I've never seen or heard off. It is suspicious but I can you're just trying to have a better life. You're not the type to lie without a good reason. So, I'll keep this between us.

Issei: thank you, sir and yes. That's my life in a nutshell. I did my part while those in power did little to nothing.....they need to do their fair share and there....was a lot of heart ache. I just couldn't bare it anymore.

Ozpin: listen Issei, may I call you Issei? I feel like we have moved past formalities.

Issei: I'd prefer that you do.

Ozpin: alright then Issei, I thank you for cooperating but your story is still very vague.

Issei: there's a lot that I left behind and it should stay there. I don't know enough to share everything professor.

Ozpin: yes, that's completely understandable.

Issei: so what's your story?

Ozpin: ....ah yes, we'll there's not much to my story. I'm a man who just wishes to guide the next generation of warriors to keep people safe.

(Issei: he's lying Ddraig.

Issei: good... So what do you train the 'warriors' for exactly? I know absolutely nothing about this world.

Ozpin: well Issei, once your ID card along with your transcripts are done, you'll have access to the library here and much more. You'll know everything you would need. If I may ask, what kind of device is that?

He asked about Issei's smart phone.

Issei: a smart phone, it's mainly a communication device, you can have access to knowledge from any part of the globe, share messages, images, videos, documents etc.

Ozpin: interesting. We have a familiar device called "scrolls".

He shows Issei his scroll.

Issei: advanced technology in Remnant.

Ozpin: due to the differences in technology, your smart phone might not be compatible. If you'd like then we can get our guys to reverse engineer it.

Issei: sounds good. I forgot to bring my charger in my sudden decision.

Issei was later issued a scroll, a charger for it which works on his phone too, the contents of his phone were copied to his scroll. His music, photos of family and friends are in it, he was issued a small dorm for the time being and was planning on looking for work but to his surprise, Ozpin said that hunters in training are funded by the government, each student gets an allowance. He was currently in his dorm learning how to use his scroll which he did easily since it's like his old phone, he kept that phone safe and sound. He powered it off since won't be using it.

Ddraig: so partner, any idea on how we can learn about this new world?
