IT WAS PAINFUL. Sitting through y/n's memorial. Since her body couldn't be located in America, and a proper funeral or burial wasn't possible, Midoryia's old high school decided to host an open commemoration for the young woman's death.

It was held in the U.A stadium, which was packed with hundreds of people—graduated students, pro heroes, family members who stayed in Japan, fans—lots of people showed up.

Flowers decorated the stage down below which was set in the center of the grassy field, All Might, Aizawa, Midnight, and many other teachers giving a few words. It was a beautiful memorial, it really was. But every time her picture was shown, Midoriya could only feel...

pain.

Everything hurt. His knees, head, stomach, eyes, heart.

His classmates could tell that he was hurting...a lot.

He loved y/n. They dated for two years, before she had to leave for America, where she later pursued her dreams as a big shot hero and part time model.

Everyone loved her.
