Chapter Twelve

"So what did you want to talk about sensei?" Izuku asked, sitting down, trying to seem calm. "Why didn't my quirk work on you?" Aizawa asked, watching Izuku like a hawk.

Izuku's mask broke immediately. "Um, thats- What do you mean?" Izuku asked, playing dumb. "I looked at you and activated my quirk before you used yours," Aizawa said. "How?" He added, looking at Izuku.

"I... Am quirkless?" Izuku said. It sounded like a question. "Explain in greater detail," Aizawa said, sighing.

"Do you believe in demons?" Aizawa shook his head. Izuku took a deep breath and spilled everything. "When I was ten, I found this notebook," Izuku said, groaning. He pulled out his Thunder Breathing Book and handed it to Aizawa.

Aizawa quickly scanned through it. "So, this Full Focus Breathing is what helped you move quicker and these 'forms' can be taught to anyone?" Aizawa said, tapping the book. "Yes?" Izuku said.

"Teach the others, you don't need to explain it. We will need it if we're really going up against the League of Villains," Aizawa said, making a request. "Well how do I explain it?" Izuku asked.

"Tell them that this is a technique that your family developed," Aizawa said. "But it isn't?" Izuku said. "Well you are the only person using it in all of Japan probably," Aizawa said.

"All right," Izuku said, giving up. "If I teach my classmates will you keep my secret about me being quirkless?" He asked.

"Yes," Aizawa said, grinning.

"Here are your results," Aizawa said, clicking a button.

"Overall, all of you did good. Now Problem Child here is going to explain something," Izuku popped up. "So I'm going to introduce something known as 'Total Concentration-"

"What the fuck is that shit?" Bakugou called out. Aizawa glared. "Continue," He said, gesturing. "All right, so as you know I am wearing a quirk cuff, which disables my quirk," Izuku said, pointing towards his hand. "Yet no matter what I can still have better physical capabilities than normal people," He said. "Is that a challenge nerd?" Bakugou shouted, shooting to his feet.

"No," Izuku said. "Now can everyone stand up?" Everyone stood up, dubious. "Now, Relax your upper body and brace your lower half," Izuku said, walking around the room. "This seems kind of stupid and useless Midoriya," Todoroki said. "Trust me," Izuku said, and Todoroki grudgingly did as he was told.

"Now take a deep breath and imagine your lungs expanding and deflating, and hold it," Izuku said.

Slowly, everyone did it. A few collapsed after a few seconds due to weak physical prowess, most obviously, Toru Hagakure, Koji Koda and Mezou Shoji. Everyone else managed to hold it for 3-4 minutes before collapsing. The only people left were Todoroki Shoto, taking calm deep breaths and Bakugou Katsuki, doing as he was supposed to with one eye twitching.
