CHAPTER 18 || red

A few days later

Hoseok sneezed once more rubbing his bright red nose as Jimin spoon fed him , the older sighed frowning "If you took medicine like I said you'd feel better" he says , the younger shook his head "nasty" he stuck his tongue out and squeezed his eyes shut

The boy suddenly came down with a terrible fever and refused to take any medication saying he'd die if he drunk such a bad tasting thing ,  as you can see he was being overly dramatic

Hoseok looked as pale as a ghost , his ears and nose both bright red , Jimin first noticed when he woke up way later than usual, he normally woke up at 4:00-5:00am which was a pain for the older because he'd complain about being hungry or wanting the password to jimin's phone to play games

hoseok woke up at 10:30am and was very sluggish , he was upset by the slightest things and complaining about pain at various areas of his body

"Master" Hoseok shuddered gripping onto the kitchen counter , Jimin quickly snapped out of his thoughts "yes? Is something wrong?" He asked , the younger opened his mouth to talk but nothing would come out , his body felt hot as if it was on fire , his head was thumping and his vision blurry

"Hoseok" Jimin called waving his hand back and forth before the boy's eyes as he sat silently starring into nothingness until his eyes glowed for a split second and snapped to the older , being caught off guard Jimin flinched "a-are you okay?" He asked

Hoseok sneezed rubbing his bright red nose that reminded Jimin of Rudolph the reindeer "that's it , you're taking the medicine" the older got up exiting the kitchen , he heard Hoseok jogging behind him "no master please" he begged tugging jimin's shirt

The older turned into the bathroom and opened the medicine cabinet "Hoseok you're going to be fine , it's not going to kill you I promise you're going to feel better" he said glancing at all the labels of different medications , the younger frowned "it smells bad"

Jimin exhaled ruffling the boy's hair "I know but just remember you'll feel better after okay bub?" He asked , hoseok as much as he didn't want to nodded

After finding the medicine they went back up to the kitchen , Jimin hooked his hands under the boy's arms placing him on top of the counter "yaaayy" Hoseok giggled , his voice cracking a bit

The older took up a small amount of the thick  liquid placing it before Hoseok's lips "open" he ordered , the boy was visibly hesitant "I'll give you cat treats If yo-" before the older was finish the whole spoon was in Hoseok's mouth

His nose scrunched in disgust as he swallowed the medicine "it wasn't that bad was it?" Jimin asked , hoseok nodded "yes......yes it was that bad , maybe worse"

"See this is why I don't want you hanging around yoongi , where did you get such a smart mouth?" He asked , the boy smiled innocently fluttering his eyelashes "uhh....can I have my treats now like you promised?" He asked

Jimin gave him a side eye before turning around to grab the bag of kitty treats , he lifted the half empty bag and shrugged "here" he stretched out his hand passing it to the younger who squeaked in excitement, just like every other time the older or anyone in fact would give him treats "tankies master jimin" he grinned

Jimin exhaled glancing at the clock Hoseok had went to sleep a few hours ago and he had to keep track of the time so he could wake the younger up

3:35pm

His eyes widened and he hopped off the couch grabbing one of the cookies he'd baked taking a bite , he jogged upstairs careful not to trip and turned into his room where the boy was wrapped up in the sheets fast asleep

Jimin sat along side him and placed his hand on his chest gently shaking him "Hoseok , its time to wake up" he said , normally he'd get up instantly because he was a light sleeper

The least amount of sound could wake him up Jimin thinks it comes with the hybrid package with the cat senses and all

After several more shakes and Hoseok not waking up the older began to get worried
