"It's really coming down isn't it?" Hyunjin , Jimin's driver chuckled "Sure is , this is the most rain we've gotten over the past month" he says looking out the window at the downpour , the younger hummed keeping his eyes on the road ahead
Jimin sighed and grabbed his work bag that was sitting on the seat next to him , Hyunjin pulled into his driveway "see you tomorrow" the younger passed an umbrella to him
The older nodded with a small smile , he stretched his arm outside of the car and opened the umbrella before he got out , sheltering himself from the rain , Hyunjin pulled out of his driveway and drove back onto the main road
Jimin exhaled walking up to his front door when he heard a strange sound , he immediately halted furrowing his eyebrows
He glanced around a couple of times but he couldn't see anything due to the depth of night and the lack of lighting from the nonexistent moon
So he started to follow the sound , eventually ending up finding cat laying in the bushes , it was bearly breathing "shit" he quickly took up the poor helpless animal not caring that it was soaking wet and hurried back to his front door
After a while of foundling with his keys he finally got in , kicked off his shoes and quickly went to the bathroom quickly grabbing a towel to wrap the small delicate creature in
It was soaked wet from all the rain , as he dried the animal he slowly realized how beautiful it was , he'd never seen a cat like this before in his life . He wondered if it was a breed he'd never heard of
Half of its face was black and the other a blonde ginger color , the black side's eye was blue and the blonde's side was yellow . The rest of its body was mixed with both colors , it was quite a beautiful sight
Jimin was brought back to reality when the animal started to shiver , he jogged to his room and turned the heater on hoping that it'll help the poor animal
He unbuttoned his blazer and took it off carelessly throwing it onto the floor as well as his pants and dress shirt , he drew on some sweats and decided to stay shirtless as he felt the heater starting to take effect
As he was about to walk out of the room he saw the cat run up to him rubbing himself against his leg purring as a sort of thank you Jimin would think
"You okay?" He asked picking up the small animal , it was very tame for a wild looking cat . He wondered if it had run away from home or if it was just a stray because it didn't have a collar
"Are you hungry buddy?" He asked nozzling his nose against the cat's own , it purred "I'll take that as a yes" he chuckled walking out of the room heading for the kitchen
He placed the cat back on its own feet and opened the fridge "milk , milk- here you are" He grabbed the big container of fresh cow's milk and took out a bowl
He carefully poured the milk into the bowl and placed it on the floor , the cat quickly ran up to it and began drinking
He finished it in no time "wow you were really hungry" Jimin chuckled taking up the empty bowl placing it in the sink for it later to be washed with the rest of dirty dishes
The human ruffled his hair and let out a soft sigh "I wonder if your owner is looking for you , well that's if you have one anyway" he says
He glanced at the clock in his living room and gasped "I didn't know it was this late , I have to go to bed" he jogged up the stairs mentally counting how much hours of sleep he was going to get while the cat followed closely behind
Jimin turned off the light leaving the room in complete darkness before he turned on the small lamp on his nightstand , he slid into bed and pulled the covers over his legs
He rested his head his pillow and was about to close his eyes when he saw the said unusual cat pounce on his bed , he smiled "do you want to sleep with me?" He asked lifting the covers letting the animal lie in the vacant area
He then snuggled him close to the cat and quickly fell into a state of rest
