Hoseok hopped out of the car after Jimin unbuckled his seatbelt and ran to taehyung jumping into his arms "hey buddy" the older wrapped his arms around him "taetae" he giggled
"Hey , what about me?" jungkook pouted , the younger hopped off of taehyung and clung to the jealous brunette "kookie monster" He squealed hugging the older "hi Hobi" he kissed the top of the boy's hair making him giggle even more
"Where's nami and jinnie?" Hoseok asked looking up at jungkook , the older pointed at the figures walking along side each other in a distance "I thought you guys would already set up" Jimin said furrowing his eyebrows
"Someone forgot the picnic blanket" jungkook glared at the blonde next to him , taehyung chuckled nervously "I'm sorry I forgot" he scratched the back of his nape , yoongi rolled his eyes "why couldn't you forget yourself too?"
"What are you doing here?" The younger cocked a brow "I should be asking you that , don't you have school?" Yoongi asked "it's Saturday genius" taehyung squinted his eyes "right" yoongi sighed "don't you have homework?"
Jimin took yoongi's hand and pulled him aside "if you wanted me all to yourself you could've just said so" the older smirked , Jimin shot him an unamused "can you stop being a jackass , this is supposed to be a nice picnic yoongi" he folded his arms
"Okay I'll give you a deal I'll stop being a jackass if you give me a kiss" he smirked , Jimin immediately walked away . Yoongi chuckled following after "come on park it's not that hard , as if I didn't get tons when we were together"
Jimin rolled his eyes "behave yourself" the older pouted "what if I don't want to , want if I want to throw a tantrum" he said , the younger glanced back at him "then we go home" he smiled sarcastically
"Fine" yoongi rolled his eyes , they walked back to their group of friends and quickly realized the couple jin and namjoon had arrived , Jimin cooed when he saw hoseok clinging to the eldest , being namjoon
"Well lucky for you asswipes I brought not one , not two but three picnic blankets" yoongi said proudly , namjoon chuckled "To be honest I didn't think you'd actually come yoongs"
"Well I didn't have a choice since Jimin was practically on his knees begging me to come" the platinum white haired male shrugged "take that statement in whichever way you wish" yoongi smirked
Jungkook and taehyung glanced at each other snickering softly when they saw Jimin taking deep breaths with his hands balled in a fist
"Where are we going to set up?" Jin asked looking around "what about there under the shade" snow pointed at a good spot under a big tree , they all nodded in agreement "I'll get the stuff in the car , taehyung and jungkook come help me" yoongi said , they went happily with their hyung without a fuss
After grabbing everything from the car , they started setting up the picnic beside a beautiful stream that had small flowers and grass along the bank , overshadowed by a big tree
Snow and taehyung spread the picnic blanket over the freshly cut lush green grass "okay now start laying everything out" the namjoon ordered "yes sir" jungkook chuckled passing the food
After what took forever because joon was a perfectionist everything was set up , food and drinks of every kind was there , safe to say they weren't going to need to eat for a couple days
"Okay let's dig i-" before jin could finish yoongi cut him off "Where is he?" He asked glancing around , they furrowed their eyebrows "who's he?" Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows
"Hobi" jimin's eye's widened , he never realized the boy's disappearance because he was so caught up with the others setting up picnic "crap where is he?" He panicked , his eyes darting around "that's what we're wondering Jimin , try to keep up" yoongi sarcastically rolled his eyes
"He must've wondered off when we were setting up , he couldn't have gone far" taehyung said , the others nodded in agreement "I'll go look for him" jungkook sprung up
"No I shou-" the older was cut off "shhh Jimin Calm down I'll go get him , you guys just stay here . If I can't find him I'll come back and we all search" he says , the older exhaled his shoulders slumping "okay"
Jimin couldn't believe yoongi realized Hoseok was missing before he did , if he hadn't said it he probably would've never come to the realization which scares him
Jungkook hummed a tune walking along the side of the stream for approximately 5 minutes now there was no signs of Hoseok as yet , Jimin seemed really upset by the whole situation and he understood why
In jimin's mind he should be protecting hoseok , now that hobi disappeared and he didn't even realize for so long until someone said something made him feel like he failed at what he supposed to do
Suddenly jungkook spotted someone sitting by the edge of the water , he recognized the romper and immediately knew who it was "Hoseok" he called running up to the boy
"what are you doing? You ran off without telling us , Jimin is so worried" he panted , the younger stood up and hugged his waist "kookie monster"
"I have something to show you" he said excitedly , jungkook furrowed his eyebrows "what is it hobi" he asks , the younger pointed at his shoes "take them off and your pants too"
The ravenette's eyes widened "what? Why?" He asked , Hoseok sighed "I don't want them to get wet when we go into the water" he explained , this left jungkook even more confused "the water is too low to swim in hobi"
The younger shook his head "no we're going to cross it" he says , suddenly it all clicked in jungkook's head "I don't have to take off my pants I can just fold them" he chuckled stooping to untie his laces
Hoseok tilted his head a bit "I didn't think of that" he admitted
after jungkook folded his pants they held hands crossing the river
After crossing and a couple minutes of walking there was an unexpected drop in the landscape
Jungkook's eyes widened a bit looking out of the field of wild flowers , The scenery was beautiful , the lush green grass , variety of flowers , the big blue sky with white clouds serving as a blanket and the bright shimmering of the sun
They sat along side each other looking out at the grass and flowers dance gracefully in the wind , it was truly beautiful sight
Feeling someone's intense stare jungkook turnt to the younger "is something wrong?" He asked , he continued to stare "pretty" Hoseok whispered leaning closer
The older's eyes widened as he got closer trying to back away "what a-" he was cut off by the younger "shhh be quiet" he said in a soft voice reaching over jungkook's head
The butterfly crawled onto Hoseok's finger and off the older's hair , he brought his hand down to jungkook so he could see "look isn't it pretty?" He asked , jungkook was as red as a tomato "o-oh y-yea"
