CHAPTER 34 || care

Hoseok ran up to the car "mr grumpy" he grinned , yoongi ruffled his hair "hurry and get in" he said chuckling , Jimin walked up to the car window "is joon and jin coming?" He asked , the older nodded "they're waiting for my call to start driving"

Jimin hummed "what about snow?" He asked "she's not coming , something about going on with date with her girlfriend" he said waving it off , the younger's eyes widened a bit "she has a girlfriend?" He asked , yoongi nodded taking a sip of his coffee "yea she's someone from your company"

Jimin walked to the front passenger seat and sat , he was about to ask Hoseok something when he realized the boy was fast asleep "how" he asked in disbelief "don't underestimate the power of sleep" yoongi said as he pulled out of jimin's driveway

"Here , call namjoon and tell him we're on our way" yoongi gave his phone to the younger , Jimin looked at his locked phone and blinked "I wonder" he whispered pressing his thumb on the home button , surprisingly it opened

He didn't take it off

He thought feeling a slight pang in his chest As he gulped "are you gonna do it or do I have to do it myself?" Yoongi asked pulling him out of his thoughts , Jimin blinked "u-uh yea sorry I spaced out"

His phone was pretty much the same other than the wallpaper change which was just pain black , typical yoongi . He smiled a little at the thought

He went into his phone book and looked for namjoon but his name didn't come up "I can't find his number , are you sure you have it?" He asked , yoongi nodded "what did you search?" He asked

"Namjoon.....what else was I supposed to search?" He asked , the older chuckled "try tall jackass" Jimin shook his head in disappointment then remembered that this is yoongi and that was what he was best at

He searched it and surely he found it , he held the phone up to his ear as it rung . After a couple rings someone answered "are you guys finally ready?" He recognized the voice of namjoon

"Yea"

"Jimin?" The older asked confusion Clear in his tone "what are you doing with that idiot's phone?" He asked "what do you think?" The younger asked looking out at the road ahead

"You guys are back together" namjoon said smirking , Jimin nearly spat out yoongi's coffee and not because it tasted horrible

He gulped it down quickly "what are you talking about , he asked for me to call you because he's driving" he said , his cheeks burning up

"He's driving? Are you guys sure you're gonna make it?" Namjoon snickered "you do have a point.....if we don't show up call an ambulance" he whispered

"Sure thing" namjoon chuckled before the call ended , Jimin mindlessly rested the older's phone on his lap "what did he say?" Yoongi asked

Jimin emptied the cup of his coffee in his mouth before replying "he said he's on his way" yoongi cocked a brow "is that's all?" He asked , the younger nodded

"Then why are you so flustered and red?" He asked , jimin's eyes widened "t-the coffee it was too hot" the lie rolled off his tongue , yoongi looked him up and down with squinted eyes "okay" he muttered

Jimin exhaled , a sense of relief coming over him but that was short lived "you know Jimin , I have very good hearing for a cat" he smirked

the younger froze ,  that meant that he could hear all of their conversation "t-then why'd you ask" he stuttered out

"I wanted to see if you'd lie to me" he glanced at the younger , his lips adorning a devilish grin

Jimin was pretty sure he felt his heart melt in his chest that or it fell out his ass

"I never ever in my life found you to be a liar" he continued maintaining eye contact with Jimin which felt like minutes but in reality it was probably just a couple seconds

He turned to the side to avoid looking at the older because he was so flustered

Why do I feel like this ?

He thought , suddenly he felt soft pokes in his side "leave me alone jerk" he muttered but it just continued until he got fed up and spun around "wha-" a cup of coffee was shoved in his face

"Why'd you drink all of mine , you could've just drank yours" yoongi rolled his eyes , Jimin took a second to read the ingredients and it was in fact his favorite coffee "sorry I didn't know" he looked down at his lap

"Whatever just drink it and don't let it go to waste" he sighed , Jimin couldn't help but occasionally glance at the older during the rest of the ride finding himself a blushing mess

He looked so hot driving , why is he just noticing this

But not only that he started to wonder if yoongi cared or even had feelings for him , no he was just being kind he thought chewing his inner cheek but a tiny part of him hoped he did care at least a little
