🪖 steve had begun to get nightmares about his past life. most of the time it was from the war and other times it would be fights in the present time. the whole snap had taken a heavy toll on the super soldier and he now feared closing his eyes and seeing his past traumas. no one knew this, however. he had kept it a secret from everyone, telling himself that there were already enough problems in the world and he couldn't add more. this particular night was one of the worst ones, making the super soldier twist and squirm in his bed, sweat dripping down his forehead. his dream terrorized him to the point he was loudly begging for it to stop and it woke you up, making you go to his room to see what was happening,

🧳 you had heard there was going to be a new tenant moving into the the apartment across from yours. frankly you weren't really interested as to who it was, all you hoped for was that they were quiet and not like your past neighbors. surprisingly, it was exactly what you hoped for to the point that you never even heard them actually move in, mostly because it all happened while you were at work. three weeks had passed and you still hadn't met your new neighbor, until tonight. you got out of work late and had no energy to cook yourself some dinner, so you decided to order. half an hour went by and a knock came on your door, thinking it was the delivery guy. to your surprise, it was your new neighbor, steve, holding a bag with your food.
