Jihyo's POV

On warm nights like these are when I find myself sitting out on our roof. It's calm.

"You okay?"

I turned my head to see Tzuyu leaning out the window. I nodded.

"You've been out here a lot recently," Tzuyu said, climbing out to sit by my side. "You thinking about something?"

I sighed. She knows me too well.

"I just," I hesitated, contemplating telling her the truth. "This is like our little place."

"What do you mean?" she asked, grabbing my hand.

"That night over a year ago, when I came to your window," I smiled recalling Tzuyu's face that night. Then, I frowned. "You asked me to stay."

"I did."

"Why?"

Tzuyu sighed, carefully planning her next words. She turned her face towards me and smiled. "I could hear the pain in your voice. I could see the loneliness in your eyes. I knew that you had just lost someone you loved, I couldn't just let you walk away."

I chuckled. "But you didn't even know me."

"Didn't have to," Tzuyu said, "I think that was the moment I realized that it was you. You were what I needed."

I placed a kiss on her forehead.

"Sap."
