When the vampire bites his pregnant husband

Jeon Jungkook, the vampire, bites his pregnant husband under a sudden surge of bloodlust.

Jungkook had been restless the entire night and the following morning because he had missed his prey during his night hunt. And his body was struck by an uncontrollable thirst for blood now. He could feel his body weakening and he could not think of anything to restrain himself from sucking the blood out of any living thing he encountered. It had been more than 36 hours since he had tasted blood and the thirst was now overwhelming him and clouding his senses.

Taehyung turned around in their bed and spread his hand out to touch his husband but was met with an empty side. His eyes squinted open, while he thought about where his husband could be right now. He struggled to sit upright because of the seven month baby bump. But after much struggling, he managed to sit straight and immediately his hands travelled to his belly. He caressed his baby bump and smiled lovingly at it.

"How are you doing, my little baby?? Mumma is fine and dadda is outside. Stay safe, my sweetheart. We love you so much.... Come out soon baby.... "

He whispered in his motherly gentle voice and then headed to the bathroom for his morning routine. After dressing himself up, he headed outside to find his husband. Jungkook was a vampire and Taehyung was a human, but they were fated mates. So when they had met each other, it had felt like their lives had finally found the purpose of their existence. They completed each other physically and emotionally. Jungkook was a scary vampire for most, but a little child for Taehyung. Similarly, Taehyung was a wise doctor for others, but a soft and smart soul for Jungkook. They knew each other like the back of their hands, and they took pride in finding such precious mates for themselves.

"Kookie, where are you???
Are you there, Kookie???
Answer me please, sweetheart.. "

"Yes, I'm here in the balcony. "

Taehyung heard footsteps approaching him and he immediately felt two strong and pale arms being wrapped around his baby belly. He giggled softly when he felt Jungkook caressing his bump. It amazed him how the strong, buffy man handled him and their unborn child, so gently. He smiled wide when Jungkook sat in front of Taehyung and pecked his entire belly and then his forehead and cheeks.

"What's wrong? You look pale today.. "

Jungkook chuckled and answered,
"I'm a vampire, baby. I'm always pale."

"That's not it. You're paler than you always are. I'm worried, what's wrong? Shit, how long has it been since you drank blood??? "

Jungkook sighed before answering honestly, "36 hours".

Taehyung sighed before wrapping his arms around his husband. He knew that his husband would be going through a terrible need for blood. But he could not let him suck his blood because that could cause serious harm to the baby. Jungkook nuzzled his nose into his husband's neck but immediately jolted away as he caught the sniff of the scent of his blood.

Taehyung looked at him with sympathetic eyes but he had no clue of how to help his husband. Having blood packs was of no use because Jungkook's body did not take stale blood well.

"Let's make a photo collage of the baby's ultrasound pictures and us for the welcome party of the baby. What say??? "

Jungkook smiled wide and nodded like an enthusiastic child, he was damn excited to be a father. Taehyung could still remember how Jungkook had behaved during the first month of the pregnancy. He avoided touching his belly because he was scared that the baby would catch a fever because of how cold his hands were. Or how he did not let Taehyung walk more than ten steps at a time. Or how he has lifted Tae in his arms, in a shopping complex, when Tae had walked for half an hour in the dressing aisle. He had acted like a cute child, surprised and excited by everything.
