Lost in New York - Scarlett pt.2

She soon joined into the car and sat on the drivers seat and just stared at me with a huge grin over her face. "What?" I asked. "Oh nothing I just noticed how pretty you actually are" was all she said before turning her head back to the street and started the car. I just grinned. I was so lucky but also scared that I would mess it all up like every other time.

-time skip to when they reach Scarletts house-

The ride was actually pretty long. How did I run the whole way back without fainting ? Scarlett just looked at me and said "ok Y/N I might have a little surprise inside ok? Dont freak out but... there's the whole marvel cast inside my house are you ready to see them or should I tell them to leave and return another day?" I was shocked. In fact I didn't want them to surprise me because I had some sort of social anxiety's and I also get scared pretty easily so I think this is going to be hard but I didn't want to sound rude so I just said "oh n-no it's totally fine". She takes my hand and leads me to the front door. She opened it and wanted me to enter and that's what I did. It was dark inside and suddenly someone jumped in front of me and I just stand there in shock my hands trembling and my heart racing. I heard Scarlett ask if everything was alright but I couldn't talk. She turned on the light and saw me standing there in completely shock in verge of a panic attack. She quickly shushed the confused marvel cast away and hugged me. I just started crying and as soon as she let go of me I ran into the living room and hid in a corner, shaking and crying. They all just stared at me and soon Scarlett came and told them all to leave and come tomorrow. 10 minutes later the house was empty well there was just Scarlett and me. I heard her approach and I just wanted to disappear. This was so embarrassing and I was a 100% sure that she was going to tell me that she wants me to leave so I quickly said "I- it's ok if you want me to go it's my fault I'm just so embarrassing and I get why no one wants me I will just get my backpack and walk back." I wanted to stand up and leave but she just hugged me. I couldn't handle it anymore and just cried. She just stroked my hair trying to calm me. After 10 minutes I looked up to her just to meet her eyes. She asked "Y/N honey do you want to tell me what just happened ? Of course you don't have to but I will listen." I nodded and told her everything about my light social anxiety and how easy it was to scare me. "But why didn't you just tell me ?" She asked I just answered "I was scared that you would think that I was weird and send me back" and looked down shyly. She just hugged me and stroked my hair again. She then got up and told me she wanted to show me my room because it already was 1am and I started getting tired. I just followed her and it felt like going on a hike her house was huge. But then she stopped in front of a door and opened it was a huge room and it looked

You just hugged her and ran over to the bed and lied on it. It was so soft. Soon I fell asleep.

SCARLETT/POV:
She immediately fell asleep and I just chuckled and put her backpack down beside her bed. I quickly kissed her on the forehead and closed the door to let her sleep. I made my way over to my room and laid down and let the sleep consume me.

-it's 4am and you just woke up because of another nightmare-

Ugh another nightmare. I was covered in sweat and I was scared because the room was so big and Dark so I took my blanked and made my way towards the door to find Scarletts room. I wanted her to cuddle me and make me feel safe like she did earlier. I then saw a door down the corridor so I lightly opened it and whispered "mom- uhh I mean Scarlett ?" Oh god. She was probably so mad right now I wanted to turn around and start to cry at how dumb I was when I heard a voice "baby ? Y/N is that you" I quickly turned around at the pet name and just smiled and nodded. I made my way over to her bed and shyly looked at my feet and asked "I uh was wondering if I could sleep with you it's totally finde if you don't want to". She just lifted the covers and patted the place next to her so I let my blanket fall on the ground and snuggled into her chest she smelled like vanilla. I was about to drift off to sleep when i asked "Scarlett? I- is it okay if I call you mom ?" she just turned her head so she was facing me and said "of course honey is it okay for you if I call you baby ?" I just nod and snuggled further into her chest and sighed happily. I was so grateful so I said "Scar- mom? Thank you for adopting me it means so much to me so thank you very much" she just replied "thanks for choosing me to be your mom honey. I love you" (pls tell me you recognized it from wandavision). "I love you too mom" weree the last words I said before drifting off to sleep in my moms arms.
