"Alright, so I was thinking of buying Andrew this," I told Remus. We were in the teacher's lounge with Andrew as we discussed which bedroom set I should buy for Andrew.

Remus peered over at the picture on the magazine before smiling. "Okay, I really like this one. It's a lot better than the other one you showed me."

"Really?" I asked. I took the magazine back onto my lap before flipping back to the previous set. I had to agree with him, the previous one did look a lot darker. "Yeah, you're right. This one does look better."

"I'm always right," Remus chuckled, leaning back onto his couch.

"Alright, big shot. You chose one bed set, you haven't prophesied the future," I teased, making him laugh. "So, how are your classes going? Harry told me about how much everyone liked your class."

"I'm glad. I really love to teach. I've got a lot of new things to show them," He admitted happily.

Dumbledore walked in next and came towards us. He folded his hands together as he said, "Sorry to interrupt but I have some bad news, Stacey."

I closed the magazine slowly as I asked, "What's wrong?"

"Andrew's mom, Catherine Hinks, has been killed last night by the people she was previously involved with unfortunately," He answered. "Catherine and Demetrius have specifically requested you and Andrew to be at her funeral."

"Of course, I'm so sorry to hear about this. Of course we'll be there," I whispered. I glanced down at Andrew in my arms as he innocently looked around the room, completely unaware of what was going on. I felt bad. He didn't even know that his mother had just died. Explaining about his parents would be hard in the future.

"Perfect. It's this Saturday," Dumbledore replied, before excusing himself from the room.

"This is awful," Remus sighed.

"I know and she was so young," I added.

It was finally Saturday and time for the funeral. I had finally finished dressing Andrew but my own zipper was stuck. As I furiously muttered to myself there was a knock on the door.

"Come in!" I called. Severus walked in to my great pleasure. "Oh thank god. Can you please get the zipper at the back, Sev?"

"Of course," He answered.

I turned around and moved my hair to one side as I waited for him. He traced my bare skin with his fingers before starting to zipper the dress. When he finished he planted a sweet kiss on my neck.

"Thanks."

"My pleasure. I'm really sorry about his mom," Severus said.

"Why would they?" Severus asked, frowning at me.

"Because me, some random woman, got custody over Andrew and not his biological family. I mean, I was angry when the Ministry took Harry away from me," I explained.

"If anything goes wrong, send me a patronus and I will be there in a heartbeat," Severus promised. He reached forward to rub my arm gently which only made me calm down as I thanked him. "So, how will you be getting there?"

"Dumbledore is letting me apparate. He is lifting the spell for 5 minutes starting at noon which is in 10 minutes," I answered, before kissing him. "I will be back later."

Andrew and I reached the funeral ground to see that the place wasn't overly packed considering their family but there were enough people to make me feel nervous. I pushed Andrew's stroller along as I made my way into the crowd looking at anyone for a kind face. I knew who Catherine's family was instantly. They were the proud looking ones with designer clothing and distasteful looks on their faces.
