With a big golden crown on my head, I was proud to be the new ruler of Equestria, and this is the first Grand Galloping Gala I am attending as the ruler of Equestria. Shining Armor is going to send some guards over for the gala next week to guard the castle.
I was looking forward to seeing my brother Shining Armor, Cadence (sister-in-law/ foal sitter), and my little niece Flurry Heart.
Sometimes, I feel kind of lonely and miserable when my friends are in Ponyville, and Spike Had to go settle the friendship problem with the dragons and the kirins and I am left alone in this gigantic castle with books to entertain myself with.
At least tomorrow will be better.
