Walking down this empty, cold road made me want to run back home. I wasn't entirely sober, I think I drank too much then I anticipated. When I finally arrived home, the lights were turned off. The moon shuns below me from the big window upstairs, the room was silent and it made me feel uncomfortable.

Just before I could hurry upstairs, I heard a loud thud from the basement. I stopped from my tracks and heard a faint scream, at that point I was trembling in fear. A faint light shuns from the crack of the metal door below.

I felt drawn towards it and in just a matter of seconds, I opened the door as it made a loud creak. I felt drawn in as I went down the stairs to the creaked open door in front of me. I heard a grunt from a male voice like it was trying to break free.

I hesitated to take another step forward to the cold, metal door and stared. It's too late to turn back now, I must be dreaming. I won't get hurt. I reassured myself as if that would help. When I finally got to build up my courage, I went inside.

I felt my heart drop when I saw the sight right in front of me. "E...Eric?" I trembled, his name rolling out of my mouth was something I wish I would never say again. Here he was, right in front of me. He was struggling to break free from the chair he was bound to, as much as I hated what he did this was too much. A gag was on his mouth, preventing him to even speak.

I pinched myself, trying to wake up from this horrible dream. I don't like it here! I don't like it here!" I chanted, pinching myself harder. To my demise, I couldn't make myself wake up. I heard footsteps coming towards me, I turned to the door to run but it was locked shut.

I struggle to try to open it, I kicked it as hard as I could but it only gave me pain. It felt too real, I'm starting to question whether this is a dream or not. I felt cold hands cinched my waist, I could feel its freezing breath tickling my ear and I couldn't help but stay stock-still.

I stopped breathing, "Breath, (y/n)." I heard the familiar velvety voice say as he licked my ear. My body couldn't help but tremble, my eyes began to get blurry from the tears I dare not fall. Don't betray me again.

I didn't want to think this is the person I thought to be. He would never, I know he wouldn't. He turned me around, making me face Eric. It was too real, is this real? I couldn't stop my mind run like the white rabbit. "Do you like your present, (y/n)? Do you wanna kill him? I can do that for you," he whispered those last few words.

I felt his hand touching my wrist, I looked down and saw a knife as he gave it to me. "Kill him, (y/n)! Kill him!" he laughed. I gripped onto the knife tightly, I could feel his stare behind me like daggers piercing through me. I walked forward while Eric shook his head no, panicking once more.

I balled my hand and just before I could even turn around to strike the man with the knife, I heard a loud glass break as I felt myself fall to the floor. I could hear Eric's muffled screams, my vision began to turn into a void. My eyelids felt heavy, no matter how I fight it back the void swallowed me whole.

The sounds around me died down, making me hear nothing but an eerie screeching.
