Now at week six~ after sitting, laying, and watch TV and coloring~ I'm finally slowly climbing my way back into "remission".
It's not exactly remission, yet. Today I become a chemotherapy outpatient. This means that instead of being admitted and staying all my days and nights in the hospital under 24/7 care; I now get to go home and sleep in my own bed and go back to my school and see friends and family again. But~ there's a catch.
I still have my Cancer (well I always WILL), but I only have to go in once a week on Sunday for a few hours. I will be doing this until I go into complete remission, or my leukemia gets worse and I have to be admitted again.
Because I'm not on constant chemotherapy and ATRA 24/7, my hair will start to grow back, very slow. At first it will look like peachy fuzz like a newborn baby. Then over time my hair will start to come in full strands.
Now it's week 7, if we're still counting, and I've been home for a full week. Tomorrow is Monday and I start school again. ....
