Mattia pov

"the other bag is in my car" i said leaning forward as my elbows touched the top of the table, i narrowed my eyes "that's all, right?" i said as jack nodded grabbing something from his back pocket

he handed me a piece of paper, i opened it

"that's not half, i'll bring it tomorrow" jack said as i looked down at the money that he handed me, i looked back at him

"don't keep me waiting" i said as the door opened, kairi and alejandro walked in taking their seats "your late" i said turning my head to them, they looked at each other, they always came late to meetings so i was already use to this

"what did we miss?" ale asked as i got up followed by jack

"oh nothing" i shrugged with a fake smile, i opened the door getting out, i looked over my shoulder a little seeing jack follow behind me catching up

"i'll come back tomorrow then" jack said as the front door open but i ignored it turning back to look at jack

"don't come late" i said. jack didn't even look like he was listening to me, he was looking at what was behind me instead, i narrowed my eyes remembering the door opened and someone entered, i turned around only to be face with Julia

she had her eyes widen and so did jack, they looked like they never seen humans before

"julia?" jack said walking towards julia

she looked at him in disgusted, i looked at both of them

"jack wilson" julia backed a few steps back, why was she even doing here? not that i'm complaining or anything, i just thought she didn't like me

"why are you here??" jack started

"you guys know each other?" i asked them but they didn't even look at my direction, they just looked at each other death in the eye

"i didn't know you knew mattia" jack said breaking eye contact with her and turning to look at me

"i could say the same thing" julia shrugged, i looked down at her neck, she wore the necklace she gave back to me the other day, i narrowed my eyes as they kept arguing

"i was just leaving anyway" jack said while rolling his eyes at her, he turned to look at me "see you tomorrow polibio" he said before leaving

julia sigh throwing her head back

i laughed shaking my head before walking away from her and into my kitchen, and as expected she came right after crossing her arms up to her chest

"you're friends with jack?" she questioned as i shrugged

"not friends, more like allies, yeah" i said before realizing and remembering she knows him to, i paused looking at her direction as she put down her purse on the counter and opening it up taking out a pair of sunglasses "how do you know him?" i asked

her expression immediately changed

"we don't talk about that" she said as she kept searching through her bag "not now" she responded

i smiled walking up to her

"i like your necklace" i said. she rolled her eyes adding everything she took out from her purse back and taking out some keys

"me too" she said walking away, i followed behind slowly

"what brings you here" i asked, i was curious, i thought she hated me more then anything

"i thought about what you said the other day" she said pausing to turn to look at me "having you as a friend won't be that bad" she shrugged, a smile grew on my face

but it quickly disappeared
friends?

"you did?" i laughed, she looked at me confused "thought you didn't like me" i said, she smiled walking up to me, her hand placed on my chest as she slowly pushed me back

"i changed my mind" she smirked

i laughed grabbing her hand tight flipping her over as i pushed her against the wall, her back slam against it, i grew a smirk while she widen her eyes, she didn't see coming

i stroke a piece of her hair back as my other hand went up her neck, i trace over the necklace looking up at her to make eye contact, i looked back down at the necklace, i narrowed my eyes, there was a bruise she tired covering with makeup

i quickly pulled away

"what happen there" i pointed at the bruise that wasn't cover

"nothing" she simply said, i shut my eyes pitching the top of my nose, she's lying, she can't even fake it, i looked back at her

"don't lie to me julia" i said

"i'm not lying, nothing happened" she said sighing and grabbing her purse, she turned to look at me "i won't lie like that" and i believed her, something wasn't just right here

"ok i believe you" i lied as she nodded

"also, kairi wanted to talk to me, is he here?" julia asked looking around, i nodded pointing towards the stairs

"he's upstairs" i said, she smiled walking away and making her way upstairs

Julia has me head over heels for her, and i don't know why, she makes me go crazy out of nowhere

night through day, anywhere any day, she always on my mind, the fact of her with someone else now, or the fact of her not even being around me, or if anything happened to her

she took control of my head now and i couldn't do anything to stop it

and this is just the beginning
