Julia pov

i sat outside as it rained, it was quite yet loud from the thunder, it was dark with almost a full moon, i chuckled before looking over at the city view, i was able to see everything as the rain drops fell on my shoulders

i sigh as i felt someone approached me from behind

"isn't it cold?" they said, i didn't have to turn around to know it was michel, i nodded as i saw him take a seat next to me "why aren't you asleep?" he asked

i was too busy thinking about mattia and amelia that i didn't feel like sleeping, i turned to look at michel

"i'm not tired" i said

"how was it?" he asked. i looked over at him confused "being able to face amelia again" he finished, i bit the inside of my cheeks as i looked away from him

"i don't know. i don't get why she even came back" i said as michel agreed

"pretty sure it's because she made allies with polibio" michel said, i widen my eyes and turned to look him "you didn't know?? they want to take us down" michel said before getting up

"us?" i said but he ignored me and started walking away

"it's all because of you, i hope you know that, mattia and us being enemys is your fault" michel said "do you think mattia doesn't want you dead now too??" he finished as he made his way back inside the house leaving me in my thoughts again

i got up right after and made my way inside, i catch up to michel as he was making his way upstairs to his room, i pulled his arm, he narrowed his eyes

"you talked to mattia??" i asked michel who only laughed shaking his head

"no. polibio no, let's just say a little friend of mattia told me" he said as i frowned, i was more then confused right now and i had lots of questions that can't be answered

"they all hate you" i said, michel smirked

"oh i know, their not really a friend of mattia, more like a spy of his" michel shrugged about to walk away again but i pulled his arm

"so his guard? his own gu-" he cut me off

"oh please he saw it coming?" he laughed, i looked at him before rolling my eyes "keep rolling your eyes and they might get stuck back there" michel said

"oh shut up" i said. there was a moment of silence for a couple of seconds before michel spoke up again

"besides how else do you think i was supposed to put a bomb in mattia's house??" was the last thing michel said before making his way to his room and out of sight, i stand there with wide eyes.

i walked back downstairs and grabbed my shoes and the car keys before leaving the front door and into the car

i drove off and went straight to the same place i didn't plan on going ever again, it only took a couple of minutes to drive there, the moment i got there it felt different, like something wasn't right

i looked at the house before getting out the car.

his guards stood outside his house, i looked at them in disgusted, one of them betrayed mattia and i know he won't think twice to kill him now

they stopped me

"you came back?" one of them said, i nodded slowly before examining each and every one of them

"can i come in??" i asked, the guard shook his head as i threw my head back. it'll be hard to get back inside that house again

"bosses orders" the same guard said, i nodded

i understood where he was coming from but right now i needed to see mattia. although mattia might be asleep because it's the middle of the night, i still had to tell him there's a bomb and who knows when it'll go off, it could be in the next minutes or seconds

"let her in, yeah" i heard alejandro say. i looked at him, he didn't look like he just woke up

the guard nodded and moved out the way as alejandro stood by the door and waited for me to go in, i thanked the guards and went inside the house

the door closed shut making a big loud noise, i turned around to see alejandro leaning against the wall

"so you came back after mattia basically kicked you out??" alejandro question, i shook my head, i didn't come here for this and he didn't need an explanation

"where's mattia?" i asked ignoring his statement

"you realized he doesn't want to see you again, right?" ale said before walking up to me

"i'm aware of that" i said as ale shrugged

"he's in his room" alejandro said, i nodded about to walk away but ale stopped me "you shouldn't be here tho" ale said making my blood boil. how many times is he gonna tell me these things

"i know but i need to talk to mattia" i said, i don't even know why i'm explaining to him, it's not his concern

"about what?" ale asked

he was getting me mad by now

instead of answering him i stood there without a word until we heard a door open and footsteps upstairs, the footsteps only got closer to the stairs as i turned around

the footsteps came into a stop once the person saw me, mattia

mattia stood on the top of the stairs looking straight at me like he was gonna kill me or something

i looked at ale then back at mattia, his eyes weren't the same eyes that i last saw, they were darker

"what brings you here?" was what mattia said

"i need to talk to you" i said as alejandro walked away leaving me and mattia alone, mattia shook his head

"i don't" mattia mumbled yet i was still able to hear him

"mattia" i said as he looked back at me, he narrowed his eyes before laughing and finally walking down the stairs

"i don't need anything to do with you, leave my house"
