Harry's POV
Hayden looked absolutely stunning in her red dress, the hemline grazing just a few inches above her knee, drawing admiring glances from passersby. Despite the attention she garnered, her focus seemed elsewhere as she craned her neck, scanning the crowd ahead in search of something or someone amidst the sea of heads. Her movements hinting at anticipation and excitement.
"Babe you are making me dizzy" I pretend to complain
We had all gathered on the school grounds for the evening's program, where each year level was represented by students performing on stage. The atmosphere was electric, filled with the excited shouts and cheers of students rooting for their respective teams. Though it wasn't a competition, everyone seemed determined to outdo each other in vocal support. Louis made his way through the crowd and joined us, casually draping his arm around Hayden's waist in a friendly gesture. Meanwhile, Niall had positioned himself up front, camera in hand, capturing every moment of the event through his lens.
"Guys have you seen Liam?" she asked while she tiptoed trying to spot him from the crowd
"Why are you looking for him? Missing him already?" Louis teased
She glared at him "Its just that I haven seemed him since this morning"
"Hayden, Hayden, no matter how you hide it, you my girl are already falling in love with him..." Louis continued
"Gosh Fee you're so cute when you blush..." I said pinching rosy her checks
"I'm not blushing! You're such a bull Haz" she complained jerking away from my hands
"Don't Lie Fee, it doesn't look good on you" I utter poking her cheeks
"She's not lying... just doesn't want to admit it yet right Babe? Smile" Louis chirped pulling her closer to him his hands still around her adjusting his camera phone facing them. I joined in putting Hayden between me and Lou
"You're really pretty love..." he commented looking at our picture "even though it's.... not there..." Lou said grinning mischievously
"LOUIS! You PERV!" she whined stomping her foot embarrassed
"hahaha" We laughed
"Just kidding babe" Louis quipped taking back what he had just said kissing her on top of her head
"You know we love you right?.." he added
"I hate you" she said pouting.
"You know Lou even if that is the case you can't deny the fact that Liam is Crazy about her" I said
Louis nodded "truly, madly, deeply, foolishly completely falling..."
She glared at us
"ahahahahah"
"Well maybe if you have THOSE.. Then maybe I would've courted you myself" Lou added
"Louissssss Williammm Tomlinsonnnnnnnn" she said pinching his ears
"Ow,Ow,Ow" Louis cried rubbing his ears that's all red
"Ahahaha," I laughed, trying to lighten the mood. "Too bad Liam already claimed your heart," I added under my breath, hoping Hayden would catch my meaning.
Hayden scrunched her eyebrows "of course not, you know how much I love you all"
"But you love Liam the most" Louis said giving her a good slap in the butt
"Boo bear!" she whined and Lou winked at her
Despite his playful and flirtatious nature, Louis always maintained a surprising level of gentlemanly behavior around her. It was a dynamic unique to their friendship, a teasing game they played when the other boys weren't around. It was their little secret, a way to keep things light and fun between them, with Louis knowing exactly how to toe the line between mischief and respect when it came to her.
