~Dark Magic~ (An oumeno story)

Wolves, Lots Of Them..

Himiko was getting worried about kokichi, "something is definitely wrong..." Himiko thought. She went out of the shelter and walked to the path that kokichi went too. It was dark and cold and she could hear all these strange noises. She was so terrified that she would jump at the slightest of sounds. She was lost in the forest.... Again... With no food or something to keep her warm after walking for what seemed like forever. She heard a howling noise. "Nyeh?!? Where's that coming from?!" Himiko said alarmed. She didn't want to become fresh meat. The howling grew louder and louder. Himiko was afraid to go any further. Without kokichi by her side, she felt helpless. "No, I can't stop here I have to keep going... For kokichi's sake!" Himiko exclaimed in her thoughts. She ran as fast as she could now, determined to find kokichi, suddenly out of nowhere she saw it...... Wolves, lots of them..... She ducked under the bush in fright then she poked her head out. A boy with purple hair and the same checkered scarf was standing with his right arm on his left. It seemed like he was injured. Himiko was horrified. She wanted to save kokichi but she had no weapons. She searched her surroundings but nothing. The wolves got closer and closer. She had to think of something fast..."Oh! I got an idea!" she said. She climbed up a tree and looked down at the wolves and kokichi. Even though himiko was terrified she had to do it. She screamed out of the top of her lungs

(she wanted to do a roar but unfortunately it didn't come out so she just screamed)

The wolves ran away from the scene, himiko jumped down  from the tree. "That was awesome!" Kokichi said. "hehe thanks.." Himiko said embrassed. "Well thanks for saving my life but um I didn't find any food... Sorry..." Kokichi said feeling ashamed of him self.  "it's ok kokichi, I'll get you food tomorrow once you take me home" Himiko said with a big smile on her face. She missed home alot and wanted to go back but she smiled to hide it. "Hey, what about that bread that I borrowed from you earlier" Kokichi said. "Borrowed...? I definitely think you stole it" Himiko said looking at him. Kokichi ignored her remark. "You can have that back and you can eat it" Kokichi said reaching for the bread in his little pouch. "Thank you but what about you?" Himiko said. "I'll go hungry" Kokichi said in a soft voice, "besides your life is more important than mine." "Wow, that's really selfless of you..." Himiko said then she smacked him on the head. "Oww, what was that for?!" Kokichi said confused. "Never ever do this again! You hear me?!? Your life is important too!" Himiko said angrily. "I'm only accepting this because you wanted that for yourself but when I take you home, I will buy you two breads and you will accept them! Got it?!?" Himiko said looking at kokichi angrily. "Ok then." Kokichi said giggling. It was kind of cute to him how she would take care of him after that whole event they went back to the shelter.
